Our Sea Lodge is located directly on the beach along the North Side of Grand Cayman in beautiful Cayman Kai, a secluded tranquil, friendly and safe area.
It is beachfront property with a beautiful sea view that goes from turquoise to deep sapphire. It is protected by a coral reef 200 yards out and provides us great snorkeling whether you are a beginner or an avid snorkeler. Swimming is great in the sparkling, crystal-clear water. Our pristine beach has beautiful sand and is enticing to take a nice walk, relax in the wonderful sun, or build great sand castles. It is never crowded and is very private and peaceful providing that secluded island feeling.
Attractively furnished, two bedroom unit with king size beds in each bedroom each with own newly renovated kitchen & bath. Our sea lodge sleeps 4 but 2 air mattresses with pumps provided if needed for two children or other guest. Also great for sleeping out under the stars on the screened seaside porch.
There is a fully equipped modern kitchen and outdoor Weber grill.
Netflix, DVD player with movies (no cable TV), WIFI Internet connection, and pay as you go cell phone for use anywhere.
Bedrooms have Air Conditioning, but it's not often needed with the nice tropical breezes and the wonderful louver doors in each bedroom and in the living room that open to the seaside porch. Listen and relax to the lapping waves and enjoy the ocean air; the open doors makes for great nights.
Seaside porch is great for eating out under the stars or watching the moon rise over of the water. It is also relaxing just to sit back and look out at the Caribbean Sea.

Purchased this Sea Lodge from a lovely couple who have owned the unit since 1985. We enjoy beach life and snorkeling.
Owner purchased this Condo in 2014
Why Owner chose Rum Point
We had spent many years traveling to Mexico, but after having a child, wanted a safer place. We fell in love with the Cayman people, the beautiful water, snorkeling, and diving. The pristine beach and quiet location make for a great get a way that is just an hour from Miami and under three hours from Houston. The English speaking island is very clean with a low crime rate, no poverty and currency fixed to the US Dollar. The weather is great all year.
What makes this Condo unique
Our unit is the only 2 bedroom Sea Lodge that is directly beachfront. We're on the corner, so the beach feels very private!

Relaxing, perfect location
My mother, husband, and I stayed at this beautiful property for a 10-day vacation. The accommodations were perfect. We arrived to a clean and tidy house with all linens and bedding available. A master bedroom and bath for my mother and a master bedroom and bath for my husband and me are located on either side of a comfortable living room and kitchen area. Each section of the house has louvered double doors to the fully screened lanai that can be left open at night to catch the breezes. We snorkeled right off the beach in the rear of the property and where we saw turtles, sting ray, a variety of beautiful fish, and coral. Rum Point is a short 10-minute walk away along the road. It was delightful to stay on the quiet side of the island. Many days we took road trips to the south side and to seven mile beach to snorkel at other public beaches. The north side of Grand Cayman has many nice restaurants within 5 to 20 minutes, all of which are recommended.
Thank you for giving us your business, the kind words, and for taking the time to review our property. It goes without saying, but you are welcome back anytime.
Phenomenal 9 night stay, Pictures don't do this justice!
My husband, myself and my 10 year old son had the very best trip of our lives! This home has everything you need to enjoy paradise. The home was clean, had great internet access, and was steps from an amazing beach-- paradise! We didn't need to use the air conditioning, the breeze that goes through the home is perfect. We did the Rum Point float daily, and enjoyed the great snorkeling out from from the condo also. The location is key to having the most relaxing trip ever. It is very private and you can take a quick drive to some amazing restaurants-- our favorite is Tukka and Big Tree BBQ. We are grateful to the owners for taking such great care of us-- and answering all of my plethora of questions. We are already planning our next trip back!!!
Another Great Experience at Searenity
This is the second time for my wife and I at Searenity in four years and this time brought another couple. The place is perfect if you want a combination of quite serenity, virtually private beach, world class snorkeling, and convenience to other good experiences and a few wonderful eating/refreshment establishments. The unit was ready for our arrival and Barbara a phone call away. Although other than letting her know we arrived, we never needed her assistance. Perfect for one or two couples, or small family, with entries directly into your bedrooms/bathrooms as well as center gathering areas. The North Side can be windy in December, as we experienced previously, but you can easily escape that on the front porch where we spent the first three evenings enjoying local beer and rum. Highly recommend Cayman White Tip beer and Govorners rum, and Don't leave the island without a bottle of Seven Fathoms...outstanding rum. The next five days got progressively better. The Sea Lodges complex is approximately 18-20 single story, vaulted ceiling units sharing a very large footprint of property so quite and plenty of beach for all. Only three other units were occupied besides ours that week. Our primary interest here is snorkeling the marine sanctuary right off the beach. As enjoyable the last experience was, this one was even better. Besides beautiful coral formations, there is huge assortment of fish. One coral/rock formation is not more than 100 feet from shore, center of the east/west property line. But the great stuff to see is from 100 yards from shore to the natural coral break wall approximately 300 yards out. There is really no need to leave the area of the Sea Lodges. We saw a huge Ray roaming the sand flats and an 8+ foot Nurse shark feeding in the area. Really cool to see but freaked me out a bit...Ok, a lot! Docile or not! Starfish point is a must vbut don't bring them out of the water and always put them back exactly where you found them if we want to preserve. Kaibo and Rum Point are a must visit for refreshments or dinner. However, our best and most affordable meals were had at at Over The Edge. Also, make a stop for lunch at The Czech Inn Grill just east of Bodden Town. A quirky outdoor eating establishment that's BYOB but a small liquor store next door. Do one of the Bio Luminesant Bay tours. By kayak with Cayman Kayaks is the best! Perfect vacation, no complaints. Thanks Ed.
Beautiful setting right on the beach!
Walk out of the back patio and you're on the beach!
Condo is perfect for 2 people, or 1-2couples.
#23 opens up to allow the Caribbean breeze to flow through day & night.
Very clean, and safe.
Beautiful and peaceful
We had a great week and are so happy we chose to stay here. We had the beach practically to ourselves and loved the excellent snorkeling just steps away. The cottage was clean and had everything we could ask for. If we are lucky enough to visit Grand Cayman again, we will definitely be staying at SeaRendipity!
Great Cottage Making a Great Vacation!
We had a wonderful time at SeaRendipity. This cottage is in the best location there at Sea Lodges. It is on the western corner, nearest the beach. It has very easy, closest beach access. Being on the end, it also gives the most private beach area. The beach was kept clean daily by a person removing any washed up seaweed or debris. We swam and snorkeled every day from our beach there.
The house opens up the doors on both the north and south sides, and the breeze flows through freely, keeping it cool and smelling fresh. The kitchen is small, but functional. We cooked spaghetti, pizza, grilled hamburgers (on charcoal grill), onion rings, scrambled eggs and sausage, and had sandwiches and salads. The tap water has good pressure and good taste. We drank water straight out of the tap and used it for making ice. The bathrooms are small, but functional. The showers worked very well, and we liked the open feel to them. The fans mounted over the sinks gave the bathrooms good ventilation. The bedrooms were spacious with plenty of storage. The beds are twin beds pushed together to make king beds, which is a very nice feature, because not all two bedrooms have king beds in each bedroom. The living room was nicely decorated and had very comfortable furniture. The beachside patio is very spacious. We ate our dinners out there every night we ate at home. It was a little too sunny and hot in the mornings for our tastes, but completely shaded and cool starting around 3:00 every afternoon. Perfect for dinner and nighttime sitting. We moved the small wooden kitchen table to the front porch (road side) and used it for breakfast and lunch. It gave more room and nice shade. Also, since the front is nicely landscaped, there were beautiful coconut and palm trees to look at.
This cottage is not upscale, but it is a perfect beach cottage, nicely decorated and comfortable, with lots of amenities, and I doubt that you can find a better deal anywhere else. We are hoping to go back next year, and will definitely stay here again the next time we come to the Cayman Islands.
