This ski house has rarely been rented and is very clean and comfortable. It is convenient to both Killington and Pico ski areas as well as all the area attractions. The living room has an open fireplace to warm up to after a day on the slopes. The house has a large front yard and nestles up to a mountain stream and woods. Right across the street is The Green Mountain National Golf Course. Its a great setting for walks or cross country skiing. Our home will certainly provide you with the amenities of the resorts, but with a true taste of Vermont.
We couldn't have asked for more. The owner is easy to deal with, the house is perfectly furnished and the location is ideal.
After searching through multiple vacation houses for the busy ski season, we settled down on this property because of its convenient location, affordable price and easy-to-work-with owner. The house exceeded our expectation, outfitted with pretty much everything we needed for cooking, relaxing and entertaining. Jon answered promptly to phone calls, emails or texts.
Highly recommended and definitely look forward to coming back again!
Great Location: 10 minutes to base of Killington Mountain, 5 minutes to Grocery store
Great house: The house is very spacious, comfortable and clean. Outdoor grill is really convenient as well
Beds: Very comfortable and bed sheets are good quality

Everything worked out well. Nice fireplace and common area. Bedrooms and kitchen were nice also. About 5 mins to access road and then only 5 more to snowshed or ten to k2. Definitely would go back!
Jon (the owner) was very easy to work with. He quickly responded to our calls and texts.
The property was very comfortable and spacious for our 2 families (8 people max during our stay). It was very clean, well laid out, with enough amenities for our needs. The galley kitchen met our needs and was up to date. The bathrooms were clean and modernized.
There was plenty of firewood for the massive stone fireplace, and the TV, Cable, and Wifi worked great. We were able to stream Netflix over our computers onto the large flatscreen without any issues.
Doubleday Hill Rd is very close to both Pico and Killington, so it was very easy and quick to get to the slopes (<10 min drive to any base lodge).
We were very happy with the overall experience and would definitely rent from Jon again.
A group of 8 friends and family members stayed at this home for New Years Eve weekend. Our stay was fantastic. The accommodations were beautiful and the home was immaculate. The bedding reminded me of the the bedding at the W hotel (extremely comfortable). As advertised, the proximity to the access road, mountain, and restaurants was an extremely convenient - two miles. We could not have been happier. We were lucky to find this house during this busy holiday weekend. The owner was extremely helpful and easy to reach. For example, we had a question about the wi fi password and he responded immediately. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone!
