It was everything we hoped for and more. Watching the snow fall, from the huge picture windows, was so relaxing. Hot tub and fireplace after a day of skiing were great. ! Truly a great location! Unforgettable.
Comments from tenants:
This was a first floor unit with parking by the front door. The unit had most everything including family games in the closet. We were pleasantly surprised by the amenities that were included in the unit, which saved us a lot when grocery shopping. We could have used the shuttle, but were glad we had a car so we could venture further out, including sleigh riding and dinner at Devil's Thumb Ranch. Christmas Dinner at Sunspot on the mountain was incredible. The Christmas ski down was beautiful and can be seen on YouTube. The condo was always cozy warm when we came back at night. The Christmas decorations were also a nice, unexpected touch.
Wow, you guys have a great place here! We have spent time in this area before & did not know this was here. Everything was wonderful – this condo is easy and fun to live in and very close to all of our favorite places (winter Park, Snow Mountain Ranch, Grand Lake & Rocky Mnt Nat Park). Thanks for having us – it was a great way to spend our first week of marriage!
God Bless, N & J
p.s. We asked for this condo specifically because the view is spectacular! It reminded us daily of our creator & that every good thing comes from him. James 4:8
We had a wonderful Christmas vacation here in Winter Park. The condo is so cozy and the view is amazing! We spent some time on the mountain, took a ride in a horse drawn sleigh, had a lot of fun tubing down the hill in Fraser and Ice skating at Cooper Creek

We hiked Adams Falls, Cascade Falls, Shadow Mountain Lookout Trail and the local winter Park trail.
We had great fun cross country skiing and sledding at the YMCA Snow Mountain Ranch (8 miles west of Fraser) Such a nice town (Winter Park) for eating out and shopping.
Beautiful condo with amazing and unforgettable view! Great access to transportation for snowboarding and skiing! Winter Park has so many options for any level snow boarder/skier and keeps you wanting more.
Robert and Renee Robert is a retired phamacist. Renee is a retired mental health therapist. We love to go to Winter Park and especially love THIS condo. We like to bike (tandem). We like to hike, but only Robert sees the glory of a 14'er. 9,000 ft is enough for Renee.
Robert or Renee Faiks purchased this condo in 2005
This is a lovely part of the country with cool temperatures and low humidity. And this condo is one of the most wonderful places we have seen. Its large size and up scale features make this as good as home. The view is awesome and better than anything else we looked at. We did not want just a hotel room, we wanted a home. We take care of our home and it is first class.
Very high end features and very large for a one bedroom. The view is wonderful. It is close to the Winter Park mountain base, 3,000 ft to the lift. There is also a shuttle that will drop you right at the ticket office.
Fabulous Condo!!! Couldn't ask for a nicer place to stay - and the view was breathe taking. We were so glad we chose the Faiks' condo for the view. It made being stuck inside with acute altitude sickness for the first three days of our week vacation seem not that bad. By the way, the ER department is conveniently located at the base of Winter Park Resort and has a very friendly and helpful staff. As for the walk from the condo to the slopes - effortless! We did ride the shuttle back to the condo after a long day of skiing and found that to be equally undemanding. We would highly recommend the Faiks' condo as the perfect place to stay at Winter Park. Robert and Renee - thanks for sharing your beautiful condo.
This was one of the cleanest and well maintained properties that we have ever encountered. Great location. Owner was very helpful and refunded our deposit immediately without having to be asked to do so. The tandem bike was a blast to ride and being so close to both the Fraser River trail and the Winter Park Resort was convenient. Perfect for a family with small children or a couple. We would stay there again.
Sometimes the best way to show you like something is to go back for more...and that's exactly what my husband and I did. We first stayed at this condo in May of 15 and, as we usually take a few days off in May, and after looking through countless VRBO's, we decided to go back to this property this year - May 2016. In other words, why mess with a good thing. The main draw for us is the beautiful view from the huge living room and bedroom windows. The property is well maintained and the kitchen has everything you could ask for. We like to go off season when it is quiet and we enjoy quiet evenings in front of the fireplace and walks along Fraser trail which is just behind the condo. We highly recommend this property.
Loved this condo! Favorite Highlights are the convenience of the location, first floor access (very nice after a day of skiing), 2 full baths, easy parking, and of course, the view, the brook outside the deck and the great kitchen. We spent 6 nights in March 2016 and couldn't have been happier with the choice. For the size of the unit, the high ceilings and the large windows make the space seem even larger. While there were only two of us, you could easily have had more people comfortably. Compared to other ski units we've rented at Winter Park and other resorts, this is by far, the best we've seen. Given an opportunity, I would make this my "go to" place in Winter Park. Also, the notes I received from the Owner after booking were a great help.
My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary in Winter Park. I loved the pictures of the condo and working with Robert was wonderful. He sends you an entire packet of recommendations as well as what you need to be prepared for when you are on the mountains. It was great for someone who has never been at that altitude and wasn't familiar with the area. He was like having your own personal tour guide! He even called to check in to make sure we made it in ok. Top notch service! Once we got to the condo, it took our breath away it was so beautiful. The pictures don't do it justice! The view of the slopes was our favorite! They even have binoculars you can use to watch your love one on the slopes if you feel like staying in. And one of our favorite features were the heated floors! Talk about luxurious! Also, you have covered parking. This may not seem like a big deal, however, when we walked outside and didn;t have to scrape our windows every morning nor clear off the foot of snow we seemed to get every night, we were so glad to have that covered parking spot as we waived to neighbors cleaning off their cars in the freezing cold. We were able to stick to a healthy diet by cooking in the condo for almost all of our meals. It was great! The kitchen is truly a chef's dream! We did have brunch at a place in Winter Park Village called Goody's. If you get a chance to go, do it. It will not disappoint! The condo is so conveniently located. We were able to go to Winter Park Village to ski and snowboard and also did their tubing! So much fun! We also were able to drive to Grandby Ranch Village and do their night skiing which we highly recommend. All in all, it was an absolutely amazing trip and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this amazing condo!
My husband and I stayed here for Christmas week and we were more than impressed! From the breathtaking view, to the heated floors, to the detailed suggestions regarding skiing and attention from the owner... it all combined for a wonderful experience. We absolutely loved the location, so close to the Winter Park resort but also really close to the town of Winter Park. For our first visit to the area, Robert really went above and beyond to make sure we had lots of information and referrals for restaurants, etc... he also called to see how we were settling in. The condo is top-notch and cozy all at the same time with lots of luxury amenities. We loved the remote control fireplace and now want one in our home. If there was a higher rating than five stars I would give them more!
Thank you for sharing your home with us, we had a wonderful vacation!
We had a wonderful and truly enjoyed staying at your home. It was a perfect spot for us. We loved the view out your back window. The condo was neat and up to date. We even had friends driving through Winter Park one day and spent the night with us and they said the pull out couch was very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.
