Overview

About the property

Condo, 3 Bedrooms + Loft, 3 Baths, (Sleeps 8-9)

Mammoth Lakes is a little slice of paradise that has something for everyone, every day of the year. The large ski resort that produces more fresh powder than other neighboring resorts year after year often attracts people initially, but the small town charm, excellent dining, fishing, hiking, climbing, biking, sledding, shopping and natural hot springs is what makes people feel at home and fall in love with Mammoth Lakes.

This 3+ bedroom with loft is happily situated in a low density complex surrounded by meadows and mountains. The property has a large meadow and creek for walking/hiking. The condo boasts views of Mammoth Mountain from the kitchen windows so you can check out the weather in the morning on the mountain without even leaving the bed. On the days when you choose to go to the mountain you can use the free and fast shuttle service to the mountain with a stop conveniently located out in front, less than a 5 minute walk. For those with laptops, fast WiFi is now available.

For the little ones and adults that don't want to grow up yet, there is sledding directly across from the condo in peak conditions. Although the ski season is sublime, they often say that people come to Mammoth for the winters and stay for the summers. The summers are filled with fun family activities: hikes to Rainbow Falls and Devil's Postpile, fishing, rock climbing and bouldering, swimming, visiting the natural hot springs, golfing, biking, shopping, relaxing, canoeing, picnicking, backpacking, camping, fine dining, and viewing wildlife. Come and enjoy the beauty and splendor of Mammoth Lakes in our condo, the best kept secret that our family has been enjoying for decades.

What makes this condo unique

While staying at this property I enjoy taking long walks in the neighboring meadow and creek at this low density complex, enjoying evening soaks in the jacuzzi and sauna (a stone's throw away) after a long day on Mammoth Mountain, using the free shuttle system to and from the town/mountain, riding bikes with my family on the bike way, and lounging with friends and family by the fire.

fantastic, relaxing vacation

  • 5 of 5

The condo was as described and very spacious, quiet, and clean. The younger kids loved to take short walks/hikes in the reserve and play in the nearby park. The older ones enjoyed longer walks and runs and cycling trips. The breakfast nook was the favorite spot for all, to work on computers and look outside the glass wondows. Great proximity to everything...stores, lakes, tennis courts. The laundry was very convenient and there was ample parking. We had a wonderful summer vacation and would stay again.

Great place to stay with a very accommodating host!

  • 5 of 5

The condo was exactly as described and worked out perfectly for our trip to mammoth! The Snowcreek village is a block away from a "red line" bus stop which makes getting to Main lodge or the village a breeze!

Denis was also extremely accommodating when we had issues with our snow chains on our cars while we were checking out and he was a very gracious host overall. We look forward to renting from him again!

Owner's Response: Thanks James, I was glad that we were able to accommodate you when you were having difficulty getting out of Mammoth on the date of discharge during a snowstorm. We also had another renter this year that couldn't get out of Mammoth at all due to temporary road closures and she had to stay one additional night. Thanks for following our instructions and for taking very good care of our Condo! Denis

We Loved It!

  • 5 of 5

The property was in good shape, clean and spacious.

Our grandchildren loved the loft and having (2) bedrooms with a private bath is an added luxury.

One morning while eating breakfast in the nook, we saw two deer below on the hillside (about 20 yards away)

Just an added plus!

Thanks!

Best snow trip with friends

  • 5 of 5

The condo was so cozy and nice, and there was more than enough space for everyone. The layout of the house is very welcoming, there's plenty of parking right outside the door, and a great living room space. My favorite thing about the house was probably the little breakfast nook with an awesome view. There is a hot tub steps away from the house, but we had so much fun indoors, we didn't get to use it! For you snowboarders/skiers, the free shuttle to the mountain is a short walk down the street from the house. Thank you for making our Mammoth stay one for the books!
