Nestled amongst Daytona Beach's vibrant shoreline this beach side studio condominium provides a balcony with an equal view of city and ocean. Perfect for that small getaway the condo is walking distance to all Daytona's beach attractions and 15 minutes from the airport, the famous Daytona Speedway and One Daytona. If lounging is more for you, there is a beautiful deck with 3 pools, beach access as well as fitness facilities. The room has an additional twin sleeper sofa, cable and wifi access! The Ocean Jewel Condominium is an older looking, dated resort but unit #301 will welcome you with fresh new modern updates and decor! Unit #301 and its contents are privately owned and maintained by the owner. The Resort and its amenities are maintained by the condo association and its management. The owner of #301 is not responsible for the condition of other properties or grounds.

UPDATE: The resort itself sustained substantial damage from hurricane Ian and Nicole. Only one of the 3 pools are currently open. The sea walk is closed off for renovations and repair as well as the private beach access. Alternate beach access is currently one block south of the resort.

Quaint condo on beach

Comfortable, clean and cozy. The exterior property is still under repair from significant Hurricane Damage. However, the condo itself is well appointed and set up with lots of nice little details. It made for a very comfortable weekend stay with my 2 teenagers.

Great Get-Away

We found this property to be exactly as listed. The property manager was readily available and responded quickly to all of my questions. The property was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We would definitely return!

Disappointed

I hate to leave a bad review and the owner was very nice and quick to respond, however the pictures do not do the place justice. It is very old and rundown. The listing says it can accommodate 4, it doesn’t. Only 3 b/c the pull out sofa is a twin and so we had to squeeze three people in the big bed. There was a puddle on the kitchen floor, dead bugs in the fridge and sink. The freezer was frosted over. The bathroom had so much of someone else’s hair, it was disgusting. The access to the beach was not convenient. You had to walk all the way back to the street and walk back down a lane (or jump the wall) towards the beach and then walk through a hurricane broken wall with rebar sticking out. I understand a lot of it was due to the hurricane damage, but that wasn’t disclosed. We ended up staying the one day and decided we had to go stay somewhere else due to the conditions. The area also did not provide a safe feeling for myself and small kids. Unfortunately, I do not recommend this place for families.

Decent room

Check in details were sent very short to my arrival and I had to reach out to owner for the details. It made it very nerve racking. The room itself was okay, outdated, but was clean. The day before leaving the AC unit leaked heavily and there was only 2 towels at the location so we had to use ours to soak up the mess, leaving us with none. Enough water to come to the living room area. I messaged the owner and got no response or help with the water and it was still leaking until my departure. The pool access was extremely annoying. There was one key fob and you have to use it to fob in/out of the pool and beach area and trust me you can’t get in or out without and there aren’t many people around to help, so if you and your party separate make sure you know.
