Our "Cottage" is one of the 13 original Klein Shore Resort cottages. All are now individually owned and renovated. There has been a whole lot of decking going on since the 60's! With just about 500 square feet of outdoor decking in front of our cottage(all for you), the decks are actually the main attraction in the summer. It's perfect for cook outs. There is a Gas Grill and a Charcoal Grill right there. For experienced boaters there are two large boat slips just down some stairs in front of the decking that can also be rented for an additional charge .Bring boats, water toys and whatever, we can handle it. Swim in the lake right here or use the pool behind the cottages. The lake is ownly a few steps and out the back door.
In addition to the lake we have a pool for the use of just Klein Shore .Our Pool is nice and only used by our owners and guests. Either way, it makes for honeymooners and good family summer fun.
The cottage does have two large bedrooms upstairs with a king in the master and a queen and twin trundle that pops up to a queen and bedding for six." Honeymooners" you will love the lake view from the large king bed . Watch the sunrise every morning.
.The decks have three separate patio sets and plenty of seating. Sun tan, drink cool beverages and watch the boats go by. It is every bit as wonderful in the fall and winter.
Inside isn't bad either. Couples and honeymooners, if you want to get away alone, your own jacuzzi awaits you off the master bedroom. However, it's large enough for two people. Watch Direct TV or check your email. It's all there for you.
Klein Shore Cottages are just West of the 70W (Airport Rd.) bridge and only 1 mile from the MLK By-Pass, which will take you anywhere you want to go very quickly. Exits to Hot Springs Central Avenue, Garvan Woodland Gardens or Magic Springs are just a few miles farther on the By-Pass.
You can't walk to the race track but the by pass takes you right there. Every attraction is only 15 minutes away.
Give me a call and I can tell you more...Pam

I couldn't resist this wonderful lake cottage. My friends and I enjoy the deck immensely. That and the two boat slips makes the property just so much more enjoyable.. Being a teacher at Lake Hamilton, this was the perfect place for me. I love the quiet setting. It's a perfect "get away". Shopping and favorite restaurants are nearby.
pam purchased this cottage in 2006
The convenience to my job and the overall feel of the cottage was what attracted me to this place. Klein Shore Resort condos were the premiere rental cottages of the 60's on Lake Hamilton. The cottages are now individually owned and maintained by thirteen lucky owners. Main channel, deep water all year round makes for happy lake living.
Waking up the beautiful sunrises is a unique benefit.! Our cottage faces due East and the view could not be any better than this! Holiday fireworks are enjoyed right from our large deck. Enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets.
We rented this beautiful house for 5 nights and was so glad we made the trip! My grandfather used to run the Klein Shore Resort back in the 60s and it brought back so many memories to come down and see the cabins that have been beautifullly renovated and are on the lake! The sunrise was gorgeous every morning! The house was equipped with everything we needed and they brought a gas grill to replace the broken one while we were there! I would not recommend this property for anyone that cannot do steps because all the tubs/showers are upstairs and there are several steps down to the dock, but otherwise it is perfect for a romantic getaway! It's so well located to everything, including downtown Hot Springs, Ark! Would definitely stay here again!
My husband rented this cottage for Labor Day weekend to celebrate my Birthday with my friends. It was awesome! So homey and comfortable and had everything we needed. Great location, close to everything and easy for a person with a boat. We stayed for 3 nights and I was sad to go home. In the mornings you could watch the beautiful sunrise on the deck with coffee and feed the ducks and at night we just chilled out on the fabulous deck. Even on such a busy lake weekend it was quite and serene. We also were able to bring our dog and she had a great time too! Pam was very gracious and made everything so easy. We definitely want to come back again!
We stayed at Klein Shore for 3 nights late July. While it is an older home, it's extremely well kept, super clean and stocked extremely well. My wife loves to cook and made homemade lasagna while we were there. We brought with us multiple spices for the dish, and it turned out most of it was already there. We've rented several places all over the country and this is certainly the most stocked of any place we've seen! The outdoor decking was great. There is a huge deck upstairs and about 15 steps down to the water (kinda steep, but nothing dangerous) where there is even more decking. There is an area below that's right on the water and is shaded nearly all day! If you want sun, you can get that down below too, out on the dock..where there are 4 or so more chairs. Or you could stay up above and lounge there in the sun there as well! The decking is priceless! If you have a boat, there's a slip for that as well. The water is very deep off the pier, but we floated every day right off the pier. It is on the main channel but we didn't feel we were in danger of boat traffic while floating! Overall, a great stay.
Location could be a con or pro depending on your taste....it's not right on the main drag (Central) but with the bypass you are only 7-10 minutes from all the shops/restaurants off Central. That being said, there are a couple places to grab a pizza out near the cottage, and I'm sure multiple places would deliver! The area is nice, but not the nicest we've stayed. But who cares, once you are on the water, it all looks the same! We will be back...hopefully for a longer stay. Thanks Pam for a great stay!
Oh, and it's a great place for pets too, and is all fenced out the front (toward lake). So we could let the dog out and not worry about him venturing off!
We just returned from Hot Springs and the use of this house. My family of four was very comfortable in the house. While Hot Springs was breaking records for the temperatures we found the lake to be a great place to stay cool. My children had a great time jumping off dock and with the swim ladder right there it was easy for us to get out. I will say that I recommend life jackets for the children as it is really deep, which was something we didn't think about ahead of time. We were able to pick some up locally. The house itself is fantastic and should we decide to vacation in Hot Springs again I would certainly try to stay here again. The owner answered all my questions before hand and supplies all the comforts of home in this house. She told me in one of our conversations, just bring your toiletries, cosmetics and a few changes of cloths and you will be fine and she was more than correct. The convenience of the washer and dryer make it so that you don't have to pack a lot (although, we did). If you are like us and want to use the lake but don't have a boat, I recommend having rafts, rings, noodles, boogie boards and / or life jackets. Whatever you do be ready for relaxing fun!!!
My family and I have been coming to Hot Springs for the past four years for vaction... I can say that by far Pam's cottage was our favorite stay! The deck was absolutlely beautiful to wake up to and have your morning coffee and breakfast, and the place was stocked with every dish and untensil you could possibly ever need! Great job Pam!! You made our stay EXCELLENT, and can't wait to see you next year!!
We thought this cabin was much nicer than we anticipated based upon the photos. It was clean, well appointed, and had GREAT views of the lake! We loved waking up in the morning with wall to wall views of the lake. Our kids loved having their own room, with wifi access for getting onto Facebook. The deck is huge and we hosted a wonderful BBQ dinner with all of our extended family that was staying in a nearby cabin. The cabin had separate AC units for upstairs and downstairs and both worked great in 100 degree weather. The cottage has its own boat dock for two boats...perfect for my sister-in-laws niece that lives nearby to park his boat and take family out on the lake for a day. Pam, the owner, was WONDERFUL!! We highly recommend this cabin and would definitely stay here again in vacationing in the area.
WE are 15 min. from down town and the race track and most attractions.about 20 mins from the water park.
We are not within walking distance to the racetrack but easy access to the 240 martian Luther King bypass will quickly take you there.
Our pool is our resort pool and is seldom busy.
Our deck is not shared by others only #7.
