Our first impression was how beautiful the setting was and neat and clean the cabin was. :)

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful place to stay for our four days in the Great Smokey Mountains with our grown children!!! The view was breathtaking and the cabin was ultra clean. There was plenty of room for eating, playing games, talking, and just relaxing. It was just a short drive to the Great Smokey Mountain National Park and services and restaurants in town were easily accessible. The owners were a joy to talk with :)

It was nice...but,

  • 3 of 5

It was nice and we truly enjoyed our stay, but there were a few "floor plan" issues that I would've thought twice about renting had I known. For example, the master en-suite bath is the only bathroom on the main floor. And it is the only shower for the top two floors. In addition the lowest level, where the fourth bedroom is, didn't have an inside access; only an outside access. The living room area only had comfortable seating for 4 adults and we had to make do with watching football by using extra kitchen chairs. And, in the rental description, the dining area, it states that's there room for eight (there's eight chairs) the table isn't big enough to seat 8 and to serve a large thanksgiving meal. However, the views from the back porch are tremendous and very enjoyable at sunset. The hot tub was a huge hit and the cabin was well stocked with everything needed to keep a family of 6 comfortable for 4 nights and 5 days!

Nice location for family retreat

  • 4 of 5

Great location. Pretty scenery. Strange layout of fourth bedroom with only an outside entrance. Could not use bedroom above master due to outrageous creaking and cracking noise caused by flooring

Nice place, not quiet and peaceful!

  • 3 of 5

Nice view, nice home, well located, very clean, well furnished... however it was not quiet and peaceful. Maybe it was the time of the year but the traffic on the road below the place was constant and loud. We were there in October, a little before the leaves were turning. The home was geographically well located giving us access to all the things we wanted to do and was very comfortable to back to after a day of hiking, but the noise of the traffic below from early morning to late at night was annoying.

Great location and lovely home

  • 5 of 5

The view was amazing from the back porch each morning and evening.

There was plenty of room with ample privacy for our family. Ourselves, our two sons and wives. Our granddaughter loved her loft bedroom!

The kitchen was well stocked with utensils! Little shampoos and soaps were especially nice.

We had an issue with the water supply due to a pump failure. Jerry was so prompt to help and all was fixed as quickly as possible.

Ample parking for three vehicles.

We had memorable family trip. Thank you!

Owner's Response: So happy you and your family enjoyed your stay. Really appreciate the kind words and understanding regarding the water issue. We share 2 wells with 6 other cabins and sometimes issues arise. Hope to rent to you again.

Very Nice! Convenient Location! Incredible view!

  • 5 of 5

This was a great place for my family to stay and enjoy the Smokey Mountains. The owners Jerry and Carol are very nice. The cabin was very clean. It is located in a convenient location to visit Cades Cove, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinberg. There is a handful of small stores and restaurants within a few miles. For me it was a good balance of being part of nature but not too isolated. The view from the cabin is amazing! I would definitely stay there again!
