There is a comfortable dining area. The kitchen is fully furnished. Completing the main level is a bedroom with a king-size log bed and a full bath.
The main level also has 3 large rockers, a gas grill, and a private four-person hot-tub. There is also a very private front porch with a log swing and three rockers.

Just as advertised
We had a wonderful experience in the Blue Spruce. The views were wonderful. The description of the property was right on. We had an eighteen year old who loved the separate entrance and made his own mancave in the downstairs. Unfortunately one of us hurt our ankle so the stairs were tricky, but manageable. We enjoyed the fine art work of one of the owners. The internet was stretched by seven people each doing their own thing. Even more reason to disconnect and enjoy. It was located relatively close to everything we wanted to do; pigeon forge, Smoky Mountain National Park, Cades Cove, and Clingman's Dome. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and responded quickly. We had no issues once we figured out how to open the key box. That was user error! We will definitely come back next time we want to see Eastern Tennessee.
Thank you for such a glowing review. Hope you do come back. Please refer us to your friends.

Nice property, great access to area highlights
Stayed here in October, right when the leaves started to change. Had a mix of weather for the week...highs in 60's and lows in upper 30's.
The cabin itself is tidy, compact and includes everything advertised. Only issue we had was with the hot tub as it had a pretty bad case of the 'floaties' in it with some kind of flaky residue permeating the water. Sort of freaked us out to be honest and was a letdown. But the views from the back porch at sunset were spectacular, near postcard quality views. I'm using one as my iPad background to this day. The floorplan itself is a bit eccentric. There are two showers, one on the main floor in the master and another in the downstairs game room/bedroom. But there's no inside access to the downstairs, so in reality there's just one easily accessible shower. The upstairs bathroom, while large, is almost entirely taken up by a large bathtub, sans shower. Fortunately, we were just a party of three so no big deal but something to consider if you are staying with multiple couples or a large family.
As other reviews have mentioned, it can be a noisy cabin as the main road through Wears Valley runs almost directly below the cabins back porch. So if here during peak season (as we were) it's a constant stream of traffic. During off season or slower periods of the year, I don't think this would be an issue. I do want to note that the noise doesn't invade the interior of the cabin as it's solid wood and well insulated.
Cabin is well decorated, tidy galley-sized kitchen with all appliances and a washer and dryer. Great food/amenities nearby with a grocery store just up the road in Pigeon Forge and several great restaurants nearby as well. Also very close to the "shortcut" that takes you straight into the middle of GSMNP or the Cades Cove entrance is just a short drive as well. Perfect location.
Owners were very easy to work with, highly recommend them and this property both. Thanks for letting us stay there!
It was nice...but,
It was nice and we truly enjoyed our stay, but there were a few "floor plan" issues that I would've thought twice about renting had I known. For example, the master en-suite bath is the only bathroom on the main floor. And it is the only shower for the top two floors. In addition the lowest level, where the fourth bedroom is, didn't have an inside access; only an outside access. The living room area only had comfortable seating for 4 adults and we had to make do with watching football by using extra kitchen chairs. And, in the rental description, the dining area, it states that's there room for eight (there's eight chairs) the table isn't big enough to seat 8 and to serve a large thanksgiving meal. However, the views from the back porch are tremendous and very enjoyable at sunset. The hot tub was a huge hit and the cabin was well stocked with everything needed to keep a family of 6 comfortable for 4 nights and 5 days!
Nice location for family retreat
Great location. Pretty scenery. Strange layout of fourth bedroom with only an outside entrance. Could not use bedroom above master due to outrageous creaking and cracking noise caused by flooring
Nice place, not quiet and peaceful!
Nice view, nice home, well located, very clean, well furnished... however it was not quiet and peaceful. Maybe it was the time of the year but the traffic on the road below the place was constant and loud. We were there in October, a little before the leaves were turning. The home was geographically well located giving us access to all the things we wanted to do and was very comfortable to back to after a day of hiking, but the noise of the traffic below from early morning to late at night was annoying.
Our first impression was how beautiful the setting was and neat and clean the cabin was. :)
What a wonderful place to stay for our four days in the Great Smokey Mountains with our grown children!!! The view was breathtaking and the cabin was ultra clean. There was plenty of room for eating, playing games, talking, and just relaxing. It was just a short drive to the Great Smokey Mountain National Park and services and restaurants in town were easily accessible. The owners were a joy to talk with :)
Always exciting to get such a review.
