About The Owner

Owned by an architect from Texas, remodeled by an architect in Colorado, the home is well-designed, for both function and beauty. Home went on the rental market in 2009; all interior finishes and furnishings are updated and in excellent condition.

The Owner purchased this house in 2007

Why The Owner chose Northwest Colorado

Arrowhead is one of the premier neighborhoods in the Beaver Creek area; perfect for families in both winter and summer months. Edwards is quaint and more secluded than the crowded Beaver Creek base villages, yet close enough to be convenient. Low hassle skiing in the winter; fantastic bike paths, nearby river access and safe neighborhood for kids in summer.

What makes this house unique

Local property manager means you'll enjoy responsive service, from snow removal to pre-arrival grocery shopping. We've tried to make this home exactly the kind of place we'd like to stay with our family and friends. We hope you'll feel the same way.

Located so close to Vail, and can sleep so many people comfortably (we had 20 people including two children). It is beautifully designed with an outstanding game room. Would definitely stay here again.

Family reunion/vacation

  • 5 of 5

If you are looking for a large, well appointed and equipped home for a family vacation for a larger group, we recommend this home. Arrowhead is one of the best, if not the best, residential communities in the entire Vail Valley, located close to Edwards CO, about 10 minutes west of Vail. Very lucky to even find a large rental home there. Very beautiful setting at the base of Arrowhead ski resort. Adjoins beautiful but private golf course. Master and 2 nice bedrooms on the first floor and 3 downstairs (one with double beds and 2 with bunks great for kids). Rec room downstairs occupies the kids while adults can enjoy the well furnished and very attractive first floor. We would definitely use this home again.

40 year College reunion

  • 5 of 5

I could stop right here and that one word description would work. Seventeen fifty-nine-year old men came out to Arrowhead at the peak of autumn in the mountains. We were divided into three houses, including this beauty. Top of the line location, great amenities, easy ability to get keys and codes, fabulous home with ultra-comfortable beds and showers. As it turned out, this house alone would have probably worked. Highly, highly recommended.

Great family home

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed the special and spacious Architect's Home for a family reunion of 14 members, ages 1 1/2 - 70 years old. The kitchen and dining table enabled us to cook, dine, and enjoy each other all together. The deck was our gathering place in the mornings. The 2 families with young children loved the downstairs for playing games and watching home movies. Papa and Grandma treated the children to a unique family shower in the master bath. You have to see and experience it!

Our tips: If you want to hike, find the Ranger Station at Minton, and they will give you good advice. Skip the Hiking Center in Beaver Creek. And, if you can't find extra towels under the sinks, look in the hall closet. We did not find them until the last night! Also, be warned that the traffic to Denver can be horrible on a Sunday afternoon. We thought we were prepared, but even an extra hour was not enough for some of us to make our flight.

Thanks for a great stay. We loved viewing the fireworks from the golf course, watching 'our' deer, and just relaxing. We hiked, some golfed, some swam, and some fished. The weather, home, and area were beautiful. Great family memories!

This home served as a family reunion base for over 20 visitors to Arrowhead Village at Beaver Creek. With an age range of 3-90 years old, all repeatedly agreed on at least this one thing: "this house is perfect"! Plenty of central entertainment areas to handle the continuous party within an even bigger design that prizes quiet in secluded side spaces. Younger ages claimed the walkout basement game room; the main level kitchen/great room seemed to be always occupied by the older set. The back deck was best for planning and recapping the daily outings. A multitude and variety of out-the-door summer activities made the time fly by all too fast. Many memories built around hiking the Village-to Village trail, paddling on Nottingham Lake, and flowing MTB's in the Avon Preserve. Short drives to raft, horseback, and check out the scene at Vail added to our fun.

This house is lovely!

  • 5 of 5

We rented this house for a group of our friends to go up for my husband's 30 birthday. We enjoyed the beautiful home! The beds were all comfortable and luxurious, the shower and bath facilities were gorgeous. The rooms with the bunk beds worked well for our single friends and were big enough not to be an issue for men (sleeping one). We were able to take a nice walk to the pool, it took about 10 minutes to walk to, and we enjoyed that as well. The kitchen is beautiful and had everything we needed for 18 people. I made cakes, baked Lasagna and we cooked steaks and even had enough steak knives for everyone. We really enjoyed the bar area as well and played lots of shuffle board and foosball. My only small gripe is that the decks could have been cleaned. When we barbequed outside and when we were in the hot tub, the decks had a lot of dirt and debris on them and it was not great to walk on with bare feet. Aside from that, everything was amazing. I would definitely rent this place again and recommend it to others. There is a lot to do in the area. We went in summer and some people went golfing, others hiked and some stayed at the house and went to the pool. What a wonderful, relaxing, fun vacation!

The owner and property manager were awesome to work with. I accidentally left my backpack, with my wallet, and they checked the house and had it overnighted to me (I obviously paid the fee for shipping). It was nice to work with trustworthy people who were so helpful. My husband and our friends could not have been more happy with this house.
