Only 1 issue

This was a great place to stay, very nice accommodations, even had a washer/dryer, which was very helpful. No complaints except I had no information that our accommodations were on the first floor of an older house & the floors creaked quite when we had someone above us, which was 5 of the six nights. I did alert the host and they were very responsive, but it was what it was, a little distracting when we were hoping for a very quiet stay. Now I know to get a full understanding of the layout of the accommodations prior to confirming.

Just as advertised!

The property was just as advertised. The Pictures online are exactly what you will find when you arrive. It was clean, plenty of nice fluffy towels, kitchen had everything we needed, it was clean, beds were comfortable and it was quiet. Perfect for our six nights in San Antonio. I had a question regarding the washing machine and had a response within minutes from Marshal. Our family would recommend staying at The Abbey.

A Must For A San Antonio Stay

We have travelled the world and USA, and having rented over 75 properties in both Europe and the USA, writing reviews on travel blogs for almost 25 years about where we stay, we would give this property a 9 out of 10. Being close to 4 military installations, they even offer a miltary discount on the rental rate. The apartment is in a quiet neighborhood, close to all the major attractions in San Antonio like the River Walk and the Alamo, along with the the airport and much more. Communication with the owner from the day we booked until we left was excellent. The apartment has all of the amentities you need for a enjoyable stay plus some. Being retired since 2000, we travel to Europe every year for 6-8 weeks since 1998, along with travels thru out the USA, always staying in homes, apartments and condos. As a kind of professional travellers, we have no quams in highly recommending this apartment if you plan to visit San Antonio. It is everything as pictured, and we can say you will not be dis-appointed if you chose this property for your San Antonio, Texas stay ...... Al & Mary / USA

Not happy

I want to give you feedback, but I don't want this to be part of a published rating. I had booked an upstairs apartment and was asked to switch to a downstairs apt. because of a scheduling problem on the owner's end. We had to listen to the people above us stomping around at all hours and it was very loud and disrupting. This is why I didn't want a downstairs apartment. We also rarely had hot water for showers. The apartment was nice and clean. The experience was not. We should have been offered a discount to change rooms. Not happy.
