The John Collins family would like to invite you to our (licensed short term rental) 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath home. If you rent a property not licensed, you may be booted out. Owner-operated for affordability, and located next to the spectacularly scenic Wasatch Mountains, ski resorts and city amenities. The home can be rented on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. 8 beds total. 1 queen and 2 single in master bedroom. 2nd bedroom 2 queen beds. 3rd. bedroom has 1 double and 1 single bed. 4th bedroom in basement has 1 double bed. Ping pong table located in unfinished basement. Tile throughout kitchen area and hall. Gas stove. Cathedral ceilings in living room and master bedroom. Private hot tub on deck with with deer and elk on the hill at times. All properties rented for less than 30 days in the Salt Lake Valley must be licensed by the city or county to be legally rented.

great stay!!

Excellent place; clean with A-1 appliances and voice control for TV. Owner very prompt when hot tub a little too hot for some "old" bodies. Plenty of towels. Lots of beds. Comfortable seating. Close to skiing but no expressway noise! Grocery store and 7/11with gas station very close by. Truly a home away from home. Will plan to stay here again when we come back to ski Utah!! Sherrie Hickman for the rest of the Michigan crew!!

A Great Place For Skiers!

Wonderful location - don't drive to the Park & Ride, as you can easily walk the block for the bus to go to either Snowbird/Alta or Brighton/Solitude. Also easily accessible to downtown and only 30 minutes from the airport - easily fly in and ski the same day. The owner, John, left us with coffee, cookies, soap and playing cards, as well as dishwashing supplies. This was much appreciated! He also checked with us during our stay to make sure that all was well and to make sure that we didn't need anything. The pingpong table was a wonderful plus, as it gave us lots of family time and hours of entertainment. The only downside was the master bedroom mattress - even though it had a topper, it did not prevent you from sliding to the middle. If we travel again to this area, I would definitely see if this unit would be available.

Wasatch vacation home

My Family and I came from Pennsylvania to visit some friends and the home we stayed at

was very nice. It was completely furnished and the owner was very good at making sure everything was working and in great condition when we got there. The home was located in a very convenient location close to grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants and many tourist sites which made it convenient to go anywhere we pleased and not have to drive more than an hour or so at the farthest. The property was well kept and very kid friendly. My family and I had a fantastic vacation and felt very comfortable in our "vacation home". Overall amazing experience and very friendly propert owner!!

Good Location

The location is the only great thing about this condo, it is centrally located so you can get to all the major ski areas..Alta and Snowbird are less than a half hour, Canyons and Park City are about 40 minutes. Also it is close to stores and restaurants. Not too far even to go into Salt Lake if you wanted to. BE warned, though, this condo is well-worn and not all that clean. There are all these signs about not damaging the hardwood floors but they are in pretty rough shape as it is. All the furniture is worn, the beds were pretty atrocious, so worn out that there are indentations in the mattresses where the people lay. The linoleum on the kitchen and bathroom floors is coming up at all the edges, the appliances are not in great shape, the burners on the stove are pretty unreliable, sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. One day we blew a fuse running the stove and the dryer and the same time. The dryer takes a very long time to dry anything. The fourth bedroom is in the basement which is unfinished except for this bedroom. No one in our group wanted to sleep down there. The kitchen is miniscule...two people cannot work in there at one time and no space to store food. I would not say that you shouldn't stay here, just be aware that it is not luxury accommodations.

We have stayed at this property a couple of times now and have enjoyed each time ..The views are fantastic from the master bedroom and the amount of space each bedroom has allowed everyone to be comfortable even when we have had a bigger group of skiers..The location of the condo was far enough away from the main street that it is quiet even when you are outside in the hot tub. As a skier the location was great because this unit is right at the halfway point between Little Cottonwood and Big Cottonwood canyons when most people were still driving back to their rentals down in the valley we were already grabbing refreshments and hitting the private hot tub. The owner was always just a phone call away if we had any questions or needed anything,I have stayed at other rentals in Salt Lake and the communication with rental companies leaves you with the feeling that you just don't matter,that is not the case at John's property.
