HAD ENOUGH OF THE CROWDS, NOISE, AND CONTAMINATES OF ALL-INCLUSIVES AND GIANT CONDOPLEXES? THEN YOU WILL LOVE THE INTIMATE AND ENVIRONMENTALLY PLEASING SEASIDE EXPERIENCE OF COZUMEL PARADISE CONDO! READ ON TO SEE WHY…
As one guest put it, COZUMEL PARADISE CONDO is like staying at your own private hacienda. Tropical beauty and Old World service and cordiality. When you arrive, our staff dressed in traditional Mayan costume will welcome you and help with your luggage, and then you will find the refrigerator already stocked with cold beer, wine, soda, juices, and waters to help you relax.
When you have your first look around, you may see Zacarias raking the white sand beach back to pristine or later see him standing watch out front in the evening. Estela or Ariana will scrupulously clean your condo every day, including doing all your dishes, and they will happily wash and iron your clothes as well. You’ll occasionally see Bernardo tending to things to keep the building operating perfectly. Sara, our manager, will provide you information on anything you possibly need to know, she will recommend restaurants and activities, make reservations or arrangements, arrange diving trips, and do all she can to make your stay perfect.
After you arrive, you’ll probably be most eager to take a plunge and cool off. But instead of walking out to 1500 cubic feet of concrete filled with chlorinated water, bacteria, and bodies you don’t know, you’ll go straight to our condo’s “natural pool”--the pristine Caribbean. It is closer to your door than most resort pools, and it offers a diving board and a ladder or reef access. To reach your private Caribbean, you just need to step off your terrace and head on down the dazzling white sand beach and dive into the stunning variegated blue sea. Snorkeling up and down the coast from our place is as good as it gets.
Then again, after the madness of air travel, you may prefer a short nap before sand and sea. Stretch out on the king bed in the elevated bedroom overlooking the living room, turn and look out on the tranquil palms and sea through the floor-to-ceiling glass. We have decorated our condo with an elegant “Old Havana” ambiance, that with beautiful tile and dark mahogany throughout, creates a calming and harmonious space that you’ll be reluctant to leave.
Next morning open the fridge for fresh eggs, bread, butter, jam, milk, and fruit juices, and enjoy your first breakfast out on the terrace under the palapa, watching cruise ships or dolphins passing by. After breakfast, you may want to walk down the beach to the adjoining area of natural reef and shrubbery and feed the iguanas living in this wild area between the nearby Presidential Mansion and our condo. They are always delighted to finish your breakfast rolls or bread. The old ones are big and slow, so don’t let the young ones get all the treats!
You see, you don’t have to be rich to have a private paradise experience at our little hacienda. How many condos for two people do you see advertised? If there are just two of you, why pay for a condo for 6? Our rates are a bargain. But if you want to bring along your kids or close friends, the platform sofas make into two additional twin size beds, sleeping a total of four. With a spacious and fully equipped kitchen, your stay need not be a compulsory restaurant tour that leaves you drowning in credit card debt. Outstanding grocery stores nearby offer everything you could want.
COZUMEL PARADISE CONDO is on the North Drive, an exclusive quiet area on the island where luxury condos are being built, but our building contains just 8 units. From our condo you can walk to the central plaza of historic San Miguel, a mile away. Or stroll north a couple of miles to the Jack Nicklaus golf course, or enjoy some of the best bird-watching in the Yucatan.
This is paradise. Not the place for wild parties and spring break crowds. But if you want to enjoy tranquility and natural wonders at a location accessible to all the island activities, our paradise is your paradise.
This private oasis is a gem. The condo is complete with everything you might need. The breeze that flows through the home is otherworldly. We completely rested and relaxed here. Other renters were considerate and respectful. This is not a party hub. Sara, Eloy and Patty were wonderful hosts. If you want to enjoy nature (birds singing, iguanas lounging, and the best snorkeling on the island), then this is the place to be. Reading a book on the white sand beach was a favorite pastime. My husband and I have been to Cozumel many times and this was our all time favorite visit. There was no need to leave... we loved staying at the property and just staring at the beautiful water. What an incredible spot you have, Bruce! We were blessed to stay in your lovely home. Thank you! 😊
WOW!This was the most perfect condo for my friend and I. We are in our 50s.There are so many wonderful things to say about it. We loved being walking distance to town and a small market. On arrival it was great to have an assortment of food and cold drinks in the fridge and yes the snorkeling is excellent right outside your door . It is very quite without any big all inclusive party animal places nearby. The condo is decorated with good taste. The owner Bruce is amazingly responsive and understanding. All the employees at the condo were excellent. The condo felt very safe. I will certainly book this condo if I visit Cozumel in the future. The photos and descriptions are very accurate. Thank you for a very lovely stay.
While planning our trip to Cozumel for Ironman 2016, we came across this condominium and after consulting with the very kind owner, decided to book it. We were blown away. You have your very own piece of beautiful ocean just outside your door. After a morning run, we came back to dive into it from the diving board. We often grabbed a couple of pieces of bread to feed the very plentiful tropical fish and got some amazing photos of a large iguana. The manager, Sara, went above and beyond to help us and offer restaurant recommendations. Patty kept our condo spotless and Juan always greeted us with a friendly 'hola' outside. A cold Dos Equis awaits you along with views you will never forget and the sound of the ocean to lull you to sleep. This is the perfect place to stay on la isla bonita.
Truly the most amazing experience we've ever had. The beauty of this place cannot be put into words. The walk to town was a little long for us, due to a crazy mosquito hatch while we were there, but a few minutes away there is little locals place off the main drag that we got the best ceviche and mojitos, a huge plate and two drinks each for $22 american. We chose to use mostly pesos for everything because you get way more bang for your buck. 10 leisurely days on the Caribbean, ahhhhh. The Mega was a blast to shop in, so many amazing foods. We waited until the cruise ships left at night and the locals come out and bring food carts with corn and ice cream and cerveza. We stayed mostly out of the tourist attractions, but went to Senor Frog's one night and danced our booties off. Rented a car and drove across the island, that was fun, Coconuts wasn't super impressive, but stopped at a roadside restaurant and that was awesome. The weather was amazing, hot and sunny, snorkling straight out our back door was heaven and gear was complimentary. Sara the manager was so helpful and maids were so thorough. The watch man made sure the PRIVATE beach stayed that way. We were there by ourselves and had the entire place. I'm online now to figure out when and how we can go back :) Also Bruce was super flexible, and when we found out our flights were going to modify our arrival and departure from Cozumel he didn't mind a bit. Minutes from the airport and I saw a review that someone mentioned air traffic above, but it's really minimal and during high noon hours so was more entertaining that anything, and we got to see military air exercises as well. Cannot wait to return. Sara has a big lending library of books too! Last day we were there we had a pizza delivered from Domino's (Californian craving lol) and the Canadian bacon and pineapple pizza had FRESH pineapple on top, even the pizza was better than average. We will be back.
We enjoyed the views and comforts of home at this 1st floor coastal location. The condos are bordering an upscale, northern Cozumel neighborhood. We walked south to town on the waterside pedestrian walkway to restaurants and the ferry. We also rented a car to tour the island and there is available and easy roadside parking right out the condo property. The condo apartment if fully equipped with everything you need including good air-conditioning, tub / shower, internet, TV, etc. The apartment is not suitable for anyone with walking disabilities or it could be dangerous for young children; tile floor, sunken living room (steps) and high bath-tub / shower entrance which could hinder its use (see pictures). It’s great to have the Caribbean right outside your sliding door, but again, it’s not easily accessible for everyone. I do recommend this beautiful convenient coastal condo for everything it has to offer!
The location was a fairly long walk from downtown but we managed it with suitcases in tow and there are plenty of taxis if you arent interested in doing it on foot. The walk felt safe with plenty of sidewalk space and light.
There were many amenities including water, coffee, eggs and alcohol available for purchase in the fridge. If you are planning to do some grocery shopping you might even have trouble with there not being space for everything but in our case it was very nice to have supplies available on arrival.
The location is beautiful and in calm seas there is fantastic swimming / snorkeling in the ocean right at the property. In rougher weather you will want to go elsewhere.
The condo was beautifully decorated, clean and cozy. It felt like a honey moon suite and is great for a couple but it is very open and intimate and i would not reccomend it as a place to share or do a lot of entertaining.
Everything about this place met our expectations and the pictures were 100% accurate.
The best snorkeling on the island, Nicklaus designed golf course one mile away, sand beach , Bonefish fishing, Scuba that is second to none, wind surfing and kit surfing lessons, Mayan ruin tours on the island and to the Yucatan, Dolphin adventure, Tarzan off-road tours, deep sea fishing, all-inclusive recreation beaches, quiet island location perfect for walking or jogging.
