Tahoma House Rental Photos and Description

House, 4 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 14)

Everyone knows that Lake Tahoe is beautiful. This lakefront property let's you not only see that beauty but get right in the middle of it. If you love to sit on a deck watching the sun come up or the last rays of the day glinting off the hills across the lake, then this cabin is for you.

For daytime fun, the water is only few feet away. Rubicon Bay is known as the calmest part of the lake. There is a dock to lounge on, a beach for sun bathing, and a gradual sandy slope for wading into the water. It is perfect for kayaking, canoeing, swimming, motor boating, water skiing, wake boarding and whatever your heart desires.

For the outdoor adventurous types, hiking is minutes away, it is a ten minute car or boat ride to Emerald Bay. Fishing and mountain biking are also within 10 minutes drive. Family river rafting in the Truckee River is 20 minutes and while you're in that area, you can go para sailing and take off for deep lake fishing tours.

Like the night life, South Lake Tahoe is 30 minutes and if you are into antiques and knick knacks, Tahoe City is 20 minutes in the other direction.

This place has it all.

About Jack Hagler

Our family has been going to Lake Tahoe since 1966. My favorite memories are up at the Lake. Now I enjoy Tahoe with my wife, 3 children and friends. We love to ski, hike, swim, wakeboard, tube, play games, ride our bikes, and just hang out and do nothing. Lake Tahoe has it all. We would love for you to come and enjoy our beautiful lake front cabin with us.

Why Jack Hagler chose Lake Tahoe North Shore

My dad bought this beautiful lakefront property and built our cabin on it. Later we added a dock, a front deck and 2 buoys. We have a awesome back deck where you can sit and enjoy incredible views of the Lake or walk down a few steps to sit on our beach. We are 10 miles south of Tahoe City. Away from the busyness of Tahoe City and South Lake Tahoe, but only 30 minutes drive to either of them for shopping or night life. Tahoe to me is the most beautiful place on earth. It is my favorite vacation spot for the last 46 years.

What makes this house unique

The cabin is on the lake with it's own wonderful beach and dock. It is perfect for kayaks, canoes, floating in the water, swimming, fishing, motor boating or sailing. There are tons of hiking and mountain biking trails nearby and Emerald Bay is a 15 minute drive by boat or car.

Great Hideaway Location

  • 5 of 5

Highly recommend this cabin as a nice get away. Though the property itself is small, the location is quiet, and everything is in great working condition. The balcony view and private dock is a big bonus!

Tahoe Getaway

  • 5 of 5

Great week at this cabin. Comfortable accommodations and the deck offers fantastic views. Lake is low, so the beach area offers plenty of room to lounge and play. Private beach and dock with buoy. Can't wait to come back.

Reunion

Had a great time. Plenty of space as bedrooms were larger than expected. Great views from the deck and the dining area. Kayaks were great fun. Nice private beach and dock. Hope to rent again.

Great Location!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin has amazing views with the use of a private beach. It is an older cabin with an excellent layout. The towels and bedding were of good quality. It was very clean, and we loved being able to use the kayaks. You couldn't ask for a better lakefront location. I would definitely stay here again.

A bit of heaven on earth!

  • 5 of 5

I have been coming to Tahoe since the early 60s and I can say from experience that this is one of the best stays I have ever had. From waking up to the sun streaming across the lake to watching the last sun rays on the mountain tops across the lake, the location of this cabin is absolutely perfect. It is also very quiet and you don't hear any road noise. We loved the accessibility to our favorite hikes at Rubicon, Sugar Pine, and Emerald Bay. The space inside is great for either small or larger groups (we were just three and didn't need the upstairs) and everything you might need is provided. One thing we always look for in a vacation rental is comfortable seating and this cabin has it in spades! If you come to this cabin you will not be disappointed!

Great house in perfect location

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay. Plenty of space and things to do for 2 grandparents, 2 parents and 2 very active boys. The views on the lake are wonderful and we enjoyed eating on the deck even though it was still a little cool. The access to the little beach, pier and the boats were also very special. We like the western shore and enjoyed the proximity to Emerald Bay, Rubicon Trail and great hiking.
