We named our home Sea Star because we are three 'see-sters'. Originally purchased and remodeled to share with our family and friends, this home is comfortably decorated with all the thoughtful touches you will appreciate.
Hollyann Hood purchased this house in 2008
Lincoln City is centrally located along the Oregon Coast with easy access to surfing in Pacific City, shopping in Cannon Beach, nostalgic Seaside, and the historic town of Newport home of the Oregon Coast Aquarium.
Simply put, it's quiet. And, it is super convenient to everything you'd want without having to really drive anywhere once you arrive in town. No need to cross the 101, no getting stuck in traffic, no neighbors to bother, and private off-street parking. Not to mention it's only 3 beautiful walking blocks to the best beach access in town and five blocks to the casino and shopping.
Cute house in a very convenient location! Close to the beach and shopping!
We loved our stay here! The living room was nice and spacious, and was a great spot for the kids to sleep. There is a lot of space in the dining area as well, which is where we tended to gather. The property is just a walk down the hill to the beach. It was very clean. When we called with a questioned, it was answered right away.
We really enjoyed the tidy beach house with a lovely walk to the beach. The beach access is easy (no stairs) and it just took us 5 minutes to walk there (even with a 3 year old).
Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of towels. Everything was spotless!
The deck was nice too--we just didn't have enough time to enjoy it!
First off I have to say that Holly and Darcy were so kind and accommodating. The house is a little hard to find but it's like finding a treasure, because that's what the Sea Star is. We were there for the Labor Day weekend with 4 adults and 2 children and we all slept comfortably. The house was cozy, clean and nicely appointed. You won't find a better place at the cost for the money. We are already planning our next stay there. Enjoy!
This place was fantastic! Great location walking distance to the beach and casino. Super comfy beds, even the twin out in the livingroom. Dining and living rooms and deck are just as pictured and wonderful for hanging out. We also enjoyed one of the jigsaw puzzles- great on the cool mornings. Would definitely stay here again.
Things to be aware of:
1) There were no paper towels and not enough toilet paper; be prepared to bring your own.
2) Kitchen and bath aren't pictured because they're a bit dated. Hope you like banana yellow! They're spotless though, and charming in your grandmother's kind of way.
3) The place is tricky to find, but owner's directions are good. Except the "small blue house" referenced in their directions was being re-sided during our stay, and had no siding when we were there.
Overall we loved this place!
