My family and I have been living in San Francisco for 25 years now. We are bilingual originally from Russia and take pride in being hospitable and exceeding expectations. Traveling has always been a passion of ours and so we understand the essence of comfort and convenience. We always strive to provide a feeling of home away from home for whom ever is staying in our unit.
Taya Katz purchased this apartment in 2005
Living in San Francisco for the past 25 years we have fallen in the love with this amazing city. The wonderful weather and diverse community make San Francisco a unique place to live and visit. Our unit is conveniently located in the heart of Historic Richmond district. Everything is so easily accessible : public transportation, shopping, sightseeing, restaurants, nature, nightlife and more.
The location is one of the best attributes of the property. We are walking distance to Golden Gate Park, Ocean Beach, surrounded by restaurants and museums and have easy access to all major San Francisco attractions, Downtown, Wine country, and so much more. Being in the center of such a diverse community allows for a plethora of food options and a unique cultural experience.
Thank you. It was a great place to stay and you clearly have set up the apartment for maximum comfort.
My family of four had an unparalleled experience during our stay in San Francisco. This was my first time trying VRBO and I can honestly say I am never staying at hotel again, thanks to Taya! Taya was incredible to work with, I contacted her the day before arrival and she responded to my inquiry expeditiously. I hope all owners can live up to her standards - she is the consummate professional. When we arrived, her husband Peter was waiting for us to give us the tour. Peter was awesome and we were truly blown away as the rental has so much to offer, fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, parking garage, laptop, printer, dvd players and the list goes on and on. It really was a home away from home! I'm really glad we didn't stay closer to the downtown as the Richmond District was so quaint. We really enjoyed grabbing a quick bite to eat and Italian Soda's from Cafe Enchante before heading downtown. Also staying in this area aided us in learning our way around the city. We caught on how to get around very quickly. We used public transportation by day and took a cab home at night. We purchased the Clipper transportation cards from Walgreens and we were on our way. A skip, hop and a jump and we were at Geary on the 38 and the bus took us everywhere we needed to go. I couldn't have selected a better location to stay at. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.
My family and I enjoyed a comfortable stay. It is situated near Golden Gate Park which made it quite convenient to get to the sights near and around the park. Walking distance to many options for restaurants, convenience stores and on a bus line. It was comfortable, immaculate and definitely as advertised.
We didn't see an elevator in the building, so for those folks with mobility issues, this would not be a good choice as it is on the 2nd floor. It was great to have a parking space, but it was a tight, especially for anything other than a compact car. The owners were very hospitable and really have thought of everything..
Our family of six enjoyed our stay. The highlights include: lots of dishes and BIG coffee cups, well-stocked kitchen (spices, food wrap, pots and pans), comfy beds (love the bunk/single configuration) and grill on the balcony. Our hosts could not have been nicer! Location is perfect- coffee shop one block away, grocery store and bus stop a couple of blocks. Highly recommend as your SF home base!
Thanks to Taya and Peter for accommodating us! The garage parking was awesome, as parking can take a while to find if you are parking on the street. Full kitchen was fantastic for cooking to feed my friends. Lots of wine and champagne glasses for a great time. Everything worked out great. They had everything to ensure a great time.
Our group of 8 went down for 5 days to watch some football and hockey. This place has adequate sleeping for everyone. 1 room has a king size bed ( 2 people), room 2 has a queen bed (! person), 3rd room has 4 bunks ( 4 people) and lastly the living room area has a fold out couch (1 person). 2 full 4 piece bathrooms. Parking in small garage as well as 1/2 the driveway. You wont find any surprises here, everything you see in the photos is what you will find once you arrive. Location was decent. Walking distance to Golden gate Park. Downtown is approximate $20 cab ride. We had a good experience here and would recommend staying at this house. Our only complaint would be the WiFi, it was slow and worked intermittently. Both Taya and Victoria we very friendly and easy to deal with. Thanks for the use of your property!
We arrived late and the owner was very accommodation with a peraonal tour of the unit. The two rooms were a decent sized with enough lodging for 7 of us. Queen bed in one rrom, bunk beds and single in the other, and a pull out sofa bed - plus a crib/bassinet was a great touch (most places don't have this). Roomy enough considering it was San Francisco, and in a good location - parking in the garage was a challenge so try reverse parking in - much easier. Highly recommended.
