Welcome to our rustic log cabin three miles from downtown Breckenridge. Our authentic log cabin offers amazing views of the ten mile range while hidden in the woods above Breckenridge.

After a long day of skiing or hiking, you can unwind by the wood-burning fireplace, sit in the steaming hot tub, and enjoy the warmth that a true log cabin offers.

The cabin is decorated with antiques unique to mountain culture and is accented with log and rustic furnishings throughout. Two downstairs bedrooms come with new queen-size beds and spacious closets.

The upstairs loft has two twin beds and a queen and overlooks the spacious living room. Our second bathroom is located in the loft. 2014 Updates include new wood floors, new windows throughout, and updated kitchen with new breakfast bar and cabinets, and new Windriver Hot Tub delivered May 15, 2015.

Our covered front deck overlooks the yard and has amazing views of Peak 1, and 2, and partial views of the ski area. It is the perfect place to watch the sunset, or unwind after a day of adventure. There is a private hot tub to enjoy as well.

4 Wheel Drive, All Wheel Drive, or Snow Chains are recommended in winter months. Roads get very slippery.

The cabin comes equipped with one full bathroom downstairs which includes a bathtub/shower, sink, toilet and plenty of storage space. This bathroom was just updated with new fixtures, tile, lighting, shower doors etc. The upstairs loft has a bathroom and shower.

The cabin is walking distance to hiking, cross country skiing, and mountain biking in the National Forest. Shopping, downhill skiing, and restaurants in downtown Breckenridge are only three miles away.

Firewood available from late fall through March. After March, firewood is not guaranteed, but bundled firewood is available at the Conoco at the intersection of Boreas Pass and Highway 9.

Four wheel drive, all wheel drive, or snow chains are recommended to reach our cabin in the winter due to the snowpacked roads.

You must be at least 21 to rent and stay in this property.

Why Patty Breckenridge Rental chose Breckenridge

We love the secluded feel, yet we are really close to downtown, and the slopes. We have always dreamed of having a log cabin, and this place fits our family perfectly. We are avid skiiers, and spend a lot of time hiking, cross country skiing, downhill skiing and hanging with friends here in Breckenridge.

Great cozy cabin!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was perfect for our family of 4 to stay in. Only a 5 minute drive from Main Street Breckenridge, but still secluded enough that it was quiet and peaceful. Owners were wonderful and checkin/out was easy. Loved all the supplies in the cabin, and we were able to cook several meals. Would recommend to anyone!

Great stay and great location!

  • 5 of 5

My family and friends enjoyed the stay. The house was exactly what we were looking for during our ski trip. The owner and property manager were very responsive and accommodating with questions and needs. The house was well stocked with needed items. The hot tub was a much appreciated amenity after full days of boarding as well as the wood fireplace with ample firewood. Thanks for a great stay.

Best Vacation Ever!

  • 5 of 5

We were lucky enough to grab a last minute cancellation for this cabin on Christmas day. Made the last minute decision to take the kids to Breckinridge, and could never have imagined a better lodging situation. Driving up to the cabin was incredible. Tucked up the mountain (4 wheel drive is a must in winter), surrounded by snowy pines, it was breathtaking. Quaint little wrap around porch fully stocked with firewood, honestly it is picture perfect. The inside did not disappoint. The little Christmas lights and greens made it feel very homey- just enough decoration to remind you that it was Christmas! Front living area with wood burning fireplace, TV, comfy leather couches and chair. Kitchen was very adequate for meals. Large kitchen table served as a great game table. 2 bedrooms and full bath down were again, very adequate. TV in one of the rooms. Bathroom was a little chilly if you didn't remember to turn up the heat prior to going in! Loft was very spacious, 3 beds, slanted roof so be careful not to hit your head! Bathroom up is smaller, but very adequate with a shower. Hot tub outside that sounds amazing, but in all honesty, we didn't use it. Too chilly for us!

The 1st and 2nd day my daughter (10) had a little altitude sickness. Headache, vomiting. We simply pumped the fluids, and rested that first day and she was fine. We all were pretty out of breath with little exertion, but are not accustomed to such a high elevation. The other thing we noticed was the dry air. There are 2 humidifiers in the cabin and I recommend you use them!

Patty, the local host, was amazing. Really, with just about anything we needed, she was quick and pleasant to respond.

We chose the busiest week of the entire year to visit, so restaurants were a bit hard to get into. We made some meals at home, at at off hours, and did wait to be seated a few times (2.5 hour waits for some restaurants!). Lift tickets are not cheap, but worth every penny if you come prepared. It was colder than average so hand and toe warmers were a must. We parked at the ice rink and caught the bus to I think it was Peak 8- pretty slick. Definitely takes some work getting there dressing 2 children and 2 adults, carrying equipment, but doable!

Would absolutely recommend this property to other families looking for a more private, tucked away in the mountain- cabin. Can't walk to the gondola, shops or restaurants, but you can't beat the mountain view, peace and calm of being in this log cabin.

Girls Getaway

  • 5 of 5

We had an amazing time at the cabin! It was extremely clean, and we loved watching the birds out the front porch. We plan to come again. It was close to the town, but far enough away to feel like you were IN the mountains. We took a walk/hike right from the house. The kitchen was perfect.

I missed reading about putting the laundry by the washer/dryer, so I apologize! We kept re-reading it making sure we did everything correctly. I didn't know until I got the email, when I got home.

Perfection

  • 5 of 5

If there is such a thing as the perfect cabin in the woods this is it. Quiet, clean, modern conveniences perfectly decorated. It's a short drive to anything important but secluded enough to listen to the wind blowing through the trees. We loved it. Saw the neighborhood fox several times
