The cottage house sky blue is quiet, yet centrally located; the town center with bakery, bank and supermarket is about 500m, the walking area is not 300 meters away. The house sky blue is a great starting point for larger and smaller hikes in the Upper Harz and the unique mountain meadow landscape around St. Andreas Berg. The Nationalparkgemeinde Sankt Andreasberg is located on 600 to 900 meters altitude and offers ideal conditions for hiking, cycling, fishing and skiing. Attractions are mainly the 550 m long summer toboggan run, high ropes course with zip line, the Samson Pit with "Harzer Roller" -Kanarienmuseum and the annual traditional festivals. Both on the Matthias-Schmidt-Berg as well as at the nearby Sonnenberg see the winter downhill skiing and snowboarding centers with lifts and inns. Especially cross-country skiers will find perfect conditions in and around Sankt Andreasberg. And who toboggan like, comes Sankt Andreasberg you should not settle: Nestled along the Kurhaus sledding hill with snowtubing run is a visitor attraction for young and old.
