|Minimum Stay||3 - 4 nights|
Professionally decorated to create a relaxing and peaceful retreat, this beautifully appointed 1535 sq. ft. tennis villa in Mission Hills Country Club features a light, open floor plan. The living is easy with granite countertops, all stainless steel appliances, and cherry wood accents in the complete kitchen. The master bedroom has a king bed, and “his and hers” vanities; the guest bedroom has a queen bed and walk-in closet. There is ample space for entertaining in the living and dining rooms. Relax on the private patio in front or on the expanded patio in back, enjoying the quiet of the greenbelt, and only steps away from the pool and hot tub. High speed wireless internet, unlimited long distance domestic phone calls, and cable television are provided.
Ready to explore the area? There are many options, all within a 20 minute drive. Palm Springs and Palm Desert offer Farmers’ Markets, live theater, museum, and cafes. Head to Palm Desert and stroll along El Paseo with its galleries, shopping and dining. Go to the “River” in Rancho Mirage for restaurants, shops, free local entertainment, and movie theaters.
Looking for some physical activity? Pick up the golf clubs or tennis racquets and play on the nearby/off-site facilities. Members of Club Corp have access to the golf and tennis at Mission Hills Country Club. Come for the ANA LPGA Golf Tournament in April at Mission Hills, or see the pros close-up at the USTA Open Tennis Tournament in March at Indian Wells. The adventurous will appreciate a trip on the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, or hikes in Joshua Trees National Park, Anza Borrego Desert State Park, and Agua Caliente Indian Canyons - all beautiful sites/trails to explore.
Then it's back to the condo to enjoy a dip in the pool or a moonlit soak under the palm trees.
The desert is a wonderful place to visit, bathed in sunshine and warm temperatures. In spring, the nearby national/state parks can be covered with desert flowers and butterflies. March brings the USTA Open tennis tournament at Indian Wells, featuring the top players in the world, both men and women. Getting to the venue early means seeing the pros up-close as they warm-up with their coaches. Fantastic! We love exploring the area and then coming back to the comforts of our condo. Life is good!
Your condo was perfect for the four of us: great location, spacious, well appointed, clean and fully equipped with a great patio on a green space. We all had a wonderful holiday and staying at your place was a big part of that.
The condo was very spacious for our party of 3. The decor was very nice and the kitchen had plenty of utensils and gadgets for anything you may need. The community is gated with a guard. If you call an Uber or taxi be sure to let the guard know ahead of time and get that driver's name on the guest list before he arrives, or the guard will be grumpy. Also, there is no guard after Midnight, so you'll have to call a guard to remotely open the gate. **Warning** If someone is entering the gate ahead of you (after midnight), don't just follow them in. While it may appear that you have time to get through the gate because the gate opens slow, there is a rail bar that will slam down on your car (I learned the hard way). So be sure to wait your turn and call the gate guard after the person ahead of you has entered. Overall, we had a great experience and would stay there again of needed.
My friend and I decided to indulge in a girls' weekend to go see the music festival Desert Trip located at the Coachella Fairgrounds. Most of the nearby hotels were booked, and I am used to luxury accommodations, so I decided to explore VRBO to see what was available. Boy, am I glad I did. Joan Smith's condo fit the bill wonderfully! It was the perfect combination of luxury and the comforts of home! Joan's condo is immaculate and fully stocked!
When we arrived, the central air conditioning wasn't working, so I called Joan. She immediately addressed the issue, and in no time, we had ac (it turned out that the unit was simply unplugged). She was terrific!
The kitchen was great, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the pool was delightfully refreshing!
I couldn't recommend this property more enthusiastically. We were thrilled, and I am sure you will be too if you have the opportunity to stay there! Thank you Joan!!!
The Mission Hills Country Club neighborhood is extremely well maintained...lots of beautiful properties...citrus trees (grapefruit galore)...great views. Condo was roomy, clean and nicely decorated. Nice pool right outside the back patio to swim at each afternoon after a busy day. Joan was very helpful with ideas for restaurants, activities and great to work with. We would definitely go back.
This is a lovely condo located inside the gated entrance to Mission Hills Country Club. The layout is perfect with two nice size bedrooms, two baths (the master bath is nicely updated) and a modern kitchen and great room with everything you could possibly need. We stayed for 9 days and enjoyed the time we spent at the condo. Three flat screen TV's for the two of us meant no compromises and we had a pool right outside the back patio. The area was quiet and well kept, we could walk to the club house which was very convenient as we are golfers and members of Club Corp. The owner was very responsive to all questions prior to and after our arrival, we appreciated the "guide book" in the condo with helpful local information. We have already recommended this condo to several of our golf friends and are happy to do so for the VRBO site as well. We will definitely contact Joan again when we are ready to return to the area.
We love the Mission Hills area, and were excited to stay in this beautiful location.
Right when we entered the condo we knew is was perfect. It was very spacious, Clean and well
equipped. Everything we needed was available. The location was perfect in Mission Hills also. Joan was
so easy to work with and we just could not say enough about the condo. and accomodations. I would recommend
it to anyone. Looking forward to another visit.
This trip was long in coming but it was worth the wait! Loved the unit as it was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio in the morning to have our coffee or tea and then in the evening to have our wine and watch the sun go down. The owner was very accommodating and made sure we were looked after. We felt at home there and it was hard to leave. We look forward to going back! A note to the UK visitors....there is now a tea kettle!!
