The villa is decorated with furnishings from Hawaii since we are from there. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed. The spiral staircase leads to a bedroom upstairs with a full-size bed. We call this room 'Queen Lilioukalani' because it has a picture of a Hawaiian princess. The living room has a comfortable queen size sleeper sofa and the sunroom, with wall-to-ceiling windows, also has a queen-size sleeper sofa. With the 2 bedrooms that can sleep 2 adults each and the living room sleeper sofa that can sleep 2 and the sunroom sleeper sofa that can sleep 2, the condo can sleep up to 8 people. The deck is draped by a Spanish-moss-laden oak tree and has a bird feeder and we provide bird food for you to use. We also have beach mats, straw hats, boogie (body surfing) boards, floaties, and crabbing equipment.
We love the ocean so much that when we saw Seabrook Island, we fell in love with the area. I still remember the realtor looking at me and saying, 'You really love this place don't you?' Sure enough, we decided to buy the townhouse. We left Hawaii more than 30 years ago to take a job with the U.S government and moved to different places. Seabrook Island is a special place for us to enjoy as a family. I retired after serving 30 years as a military officer in the U.S. Uniformed Services,U.S. Public Health Sevice and my wife works there at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Arnold Manangan purchased this villa in 2003
Seabrook Island is uniquely designed. The quieteness and peacefulness of the island and privacy just attracted us to this place. We love the scenery of the beach, marsh, and the wildlife that abounds. It is so uplifting when we see before our eyes the cycle of low tide to high tide.
Kayak launching pad close to the condo. The condo and the community is pet friendly. Condo swimming pool is walking distance. Wildlife abounds. Egrets flying and other wildlife is a common sight that unravels at the breakfast table as you glance toward marsh. Being a gated-community, you can enjoy the quietness and joyful moments with your guests and families.
We have stayed at this end townhouse several times over the years. We love the view of the marsh from the dual balcony and sunroom. The townhouse is very comfortable with one bedroom downstairs and one upstairs. There is a spiral staircase between floors. We liked this condo better then others that we have stayed in at Seabrook because of the view of the marsh and birds, the location relatively close to the entrance, and the lower price. On this last visit we saw three deer grazing next to the balcony. Our cat also enjoyed his stay there and liked resting on the staircase.
Our fall vacation at Seabrook was disappointing as we had to evacuate the island Thursday morning due to the hurricane. We loved the unit we selected and the setting and location on the island was perfect. We hope to get back next year and be able to stay for the entire week The property was clean and well maintained and we look forward to booking again. Also Arnold was wonderful with our communication. I am new to booking properties in this manner and I was relieved to receive such prompt responses. I hope the refund goes smoothly since ewe only stayed 2 nights.
Arnold is an excellent host. The condo is nice and quiet and very clean. You can't go wrong staying here.
We had a wonderful time staying in the condo! Very spacious and so thankful they allowed our dog to tag along! We loved the outdoor deck...spent a lot of time looking over the marsh! Crabbing was awesome and seeing baby sea turtles were amazing! I highly recommend getting in touch with the Seabrook Island Turtle Patrol if you are down there during nesting season!! Thank you again for allowing us to stay in your condo!
This cottage was very disappointing. The carpets were very stained ad dirty. There was hair everywhere, including the coffee pot. It smelt very musty, especially the upstairs bathroom, which was unusable.
My mom and I really enjoyed staying at the villa the week of Aug. 13-20. It was clean and comfortable and the owners were very easy to work it. I stayed in the upstairs room accessed by the spiral staircase and it was very comfortable in terms of temperature and setting, and it had it's own bathroom. The window looked out into a giant oak tree so I felt like I was in a tree house. Because the villa was pet friendly we brought our fur babies with us--one dog and two cats. We really appreciated being able to bring our pets with us on vacation. The villa was maybe a 7 minute car ride away from the beach access areas. The whole island was peaceful and relaxing and we would like to stay at the villa again next year.
