Cedar Key is the perfect place to relax. A small community, with all the amenities. We have a pool, a hot tub, plenty of room for our boat, and racks for your kayaks.
Walk everywhere in Cedar Key. Only 3 blocks to anything, we can enjoy the town, then retire to your hideaway and just relax on the balcony and bird watch, enjoy the sounds of nature, watch fish jump, or just soak in the feel of the real Florida.
What a wonderful surprise. After driving within Florida was told of Cedar Key. How lucky to find such a wonderful place to lay our heads. The condo was clean & the views were spectacular. We had plenty of room to accommodate sleeping arrangements in both bedrooms for adults & children. The pool was a plus for both children & adults. Now that we know about Cedar Key & this condo with everything we would need we will be coming back.
We looked at a lot of places before we settled on Drift Away and were not disappointed..it was actually even better than advertised as the pictures do not do it justice! Nicely furnished with comfortable seating and beds, good linens and clean and fresh as a whistle! Very comfortable for elderly parents and accommodated our old dog nicely in terms of stairs being easy to maneuver and convenient walking areas to do her business. Nice sound system and quality kitchen electronics..we didn't really want for anything other than our stay to not end! Appears well managed and we do plan on returning soon..
I have spent more than one visit and each time I have never been disappionted with this Condo. It is always clean and the furniture is very comfortable.
When you sit out on the back patio the view is spectacular and @ sunrise and sunset this is where to be.
Fishing is great, boat tours, riding bikes, dining and just walking around you can find just what your need for a restful and fun filled vacation.
When I come to Cedar Key this is the only place I want to stay
This is the most beautiful and well maintained condo we have ever rented on the Gulf Coast. The view is marvelous, especially watching the tidal changes and all the wild life. There are excellent restaurants within easy walking distance and wonderful little eclectic shops all over town.
Will we come back again? . . . You bet!!
Very nice condo, extremely clean and well kept. Furniture and beds are really comfortable. The condo pretty much had anything we needed. Sitting on the porch, overlooking the water and watching the wildlife is so relaxing. it is an ideal place to decompress. Cedar Key is such a quaint, slow paced town. No rushing around, just take your time and enjoy the whole experience. Try the sunset cruise for a really nice boat ride. You can tell the owners take great pride in their condo. It is a really, really nice place.
The place for the naturalist. Bird watching, wild life trails, fishing are all on the island. State preserves, Cedar Keys National Wildlife Refuge are either just a boat tour away or drive 20 minutes to Lower Suwannee National Wildlife Refuge.
