About Rebecca Rodriguez

Santa Fe holds a special alchemy for the creative process as well as spiritual pilgrimidge....both are very important to us. Our home is full of artworks from Taos Talent Todd Winters and Inuit stencils from the artic circle. We love the location with it's eclectic neighborhood of both the really old and the new...and the ease of walking everywhere. Both of us are also involved in Hospice & our work is focused on the empowerment of the dying. The Goal is to move from this world into the next consciously and without fear.

Rebecca Rodriguez purchased this townhome in 2008

Why Rebecca Rodriguez chose New Mexico

Ease of access to everything!! Love the ambiance of the eclectic neighborhood and the proximity of the Farmers Market and Railyard area. We looked for over a year and kept coming back to this neighborhood. This area gives us the old Santa Fe we've known for decades, closeness to shopping and dining, walk to farmers market and summer plaza events. Wonderful weather with 4 full seasons. We hope to retire there full time in the future.

What makes this townhome unique

Peacefulness. Elegant surroundings but very comfortable. Easy 3 blocks to Farmers Market and emerging Art Center. Whole Foods, Trader Joes just down the street. Love our neighbors!! Outdoor setting off Master. ALWAYS something going on in Santa Fe. You can walk to the plaza on summer evenings around 5pm for live music and special activities.

Cooking great meals (Out doors too!) and enjoying them outside with good friends and inspiring conversations. Jacuzzi Tub before bed!!

Guestbook comments from the owner

I wanted to drop you a note to let you know what a wonderful time my sisters and I had in Santa Fe. Your home is lovely and was perfect for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. And it was so convenient. We found a nice coffee shop at the Railyard within walking distance and were able to get the trolley right there to go downtown. We are filed with great memories. Thanks again for providing us a wonderful home on our vacation.

Very nice house in a good location

  • 5 of 5

This was my third time to Santa Fe with three other friends and since we were staying for five nights I looked into renting a home. I rented it back in October as we were there during Indian Market. I had several email exchanges with Rebecca and received a quick response each time I reached out to her. My friends gave me an A+ for finding this home. It is in a convenient location, it was quiet while we stayed there, the beds are comfortable, and the house is decorated very nicely. Two of us were so relaxed staying at the house, we skipped out on a day of shopping and enjoyed hanging out and watching the Olympics. I have stayed at several homes on vrbo.com in different cities and this one ranks high on my list. We had a wonderful time visiting the Santa Fe area made even nicer by staying in Rebecca's house. One recommendation is to go to Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs about an hour north of Santa Fe.

Owner's Response: We thank you so much for taking the time to write this lovely review. We agree! Our home was purchased after looking for a whole year back in 2008. We just loved the authenticity of the Railyard area for eclectic neighborhood of old and new. Comfortable furniture and beds were high on our list when we decorated and a spotless home came in as the close second. Thank you for noticing and commenting. Fantastic place to stay

  • 5 of 5

This was my second stay at Rebecca's Santa Fe rental and it was absolutely fantastic. Some collaborators and I were attending a meeting at the conference center near the plaza and this was a great spot to stay. It's a pleasant 15 minute walk to the plaza, and shorter to the railyard area. The home itself is great for groups, well furnished, comfortable, nicely decorated, and just generally lovely. Rebecca is easy to communicate with and very responsive. I highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful

  • 5 of 5

My boyfriend and I stayed here over New Years. It was extremely clean, cozy, and private. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen immensely, as well as the wonderful fireplace. And it was a very short drive to nearby restaurants!

Our ONE (minor) complaint was the showers - the overhead shower in the master bedroom had slightly too much pressure and kind of hurt. This could probably have been adjusted but we did not feel comfortable messing with the spout! The other shower had a shower curtain that was slightly too small, so we would accidentally make a mess each time one of us showered. Otherwise, our stay was perfect.

A great stay in Santa Fe

  • 4 of 5

My family and I stayed at Rebecca's gorgeous home. It was a roomy and welcoming place. The four of us felt very comfortable. I appreciated all the amenities and it was spotless. The location worked well for us. We walked to food, galleries and the cinema from the house. It is very accessible to the Plaza as well. And conveniently, it is a short drive to Whole Foods and Trader Joe's! This is a special part of the country and this house makes it more enjoyable!

great space!

  • 5 of 5

Pretty much everything in Santa Fe is 7 minutes away. This property is close to everything but the best part is the space. It is a condo with 2 floors. Great space with a nice kitchen, living room, fireplace (that you only need to turn a switch to turn on!) a little outdoor courtyard. Upstairs there are 2 nice bedrooms (one master with master bath and sitting balcony). There is also a laundry room which is important to me when I travel as I don't have to pack as much since I can wash clothes and wear again.

The house is really homey and decorated in a cool, funky decor.

I give it 5 stars.
