Bill Kiely purchased this townhome in 2008
First, I love Red Lodge and all it has to offer. Great hunting, fishing, hiking, wild life roaming the streets, the ski resort, the golf course, Coney Dam nearby for boating, the 600 plus day hikes I can take within 1/2 hour of Red Lodge, the people, and while I am enjoying these benefits I expect that Red Lodge will be a very good investment.
I am 3 blocks to the heart of down town Red Lodge. Yet from my creek side townhome, I never even know the city exits!! The developer made the walls between units sound proof so I do not hear my neighbors. I love the deer meandering around, the occasionally moose or elk, and even the odd bear now and then. I hear the water from the waterfalls in the front yard and from the creek in the back yard!! It is simply the best location possible!! Also great new beds for our guests so they get a great night sleep.
Two families with a total of four adult sand four kids shared this rental for a long weekend (Wednesday - Sunday).
We had a fantastic time!
The place was just as the pictures indicated, other than there was an additional way comfy leather couch in the living room and also a dining room table that sat 10 - which was a wonderful surprise so that we all could eat together.
We came for the skiing but were thrilled with the place location and the wonderful city of Red Lodge! I must say that the people that built these town homes were excellent builders - the place was built solid. We could barely hear our room full of kids as they stayed up visiting and laughing and our room was right now the hall.
The city shops were three blocks away and what fun to take a walk for ice cream and candy at the end of a homemade meal!!!!
Thank you for a wonderful stay!
My college roommates and I take an annual vacation. This year we chose Red Lodge and were looking for a place with a very good kitchen and able to sleep 8-10 adult women with at least 3 bathrooms. This condo was perfect in every way. Pristine condition, well appointed and within a 5 minute walk from downtown Red Lodge. The bedrooms were generous and well appointed. There are 3 full bathrooms. It hosts a full, generous kitchen along with a separate butler's pantry. The decks on Rock Creek are delightful. When I stay in Red Lodge again, I will stay here again without hesitiation!
This was our third stay at the Island at Rock Creek. We stayed in a lovely townhome with three master suites. Three couples enjoyed the weekend and Bill was awesome with his help. This place is walking distance to just about everything. We went downtown on Saturday night, enjoyed some live music, and walked home. No one needed to be a designated driver, which was nice for everyone! The townhomes are classy, clean, attention to detail is evident everywhere. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Red Lodge. Can't wait to return!
We just returned from a three night stay in Red Lodge. Our group included two families with 6 kids total ranging in age from nine to three. This townhouse was perfect for our trip as it included two master suites and a third bedroom with three sets of bunkbeds. The place is situated perfectly, with Rock Creek just below the back deck and main street/downtown just three short blocks away where there is great shopping and dining. The home is beautifully decorated and very warm and inviting. There are walking trails just across the street and many parks/outdoor activities for kids of all ages near by. Although the skiing was not great because of the warm weather and lack of snow, we still had a great time. Bill was very good to work with, as was Matt (site manager). I do have a couple small negatives if you will about the property: 1. The garage is very low, so any vehicle with ski rack or cargo box will not fit 2. Wish the hot tub was larger (there were bigger ones on adjacent decks) 3. The bbq grill did not function very well at all, so we had to use one on another deck. These should by no means take away from the many great things about this townhouse and the town itself. We plan to return in the future.
This was our first time staying at the Islands of Rock Creek. (not our first time in Red Lodge, but first in this particular rental.). We were very pleased with the accommodations for us and our four adult children. There is plenty of space to spread out, nice kitchen, (although we didn't cook much), nice to have laundry available, beds were good, the neighborhood was quiet, weather fantastic, skiing good!! The hot tub was maintained daily, and all in all a very pleasant stay. Definitely recommend this for future use!
Family and I stayed at Bill's place last March/April for a ski vacation. Red Lodge is a wonderful place for a vacation and staying at Creek Side was the topping on the cake. Everything on the listing was spot on.. beautiful, roomy, well furnished and impeccably kept home. The deck with the hot tub sits right on a babbling stream which can be easily heard from the bedrooms. Nothing like sleeping with that in the background. The best sleep I had in months.
Lastly.. Bill was a pleasure to work with. . You can really tell Bill takes pride in the development.
Highly recommend staying at Rock Creek..
