The Ommertalhof with its far beyond the region known Gartenalage is located in the middle of Bergisch Wanderland.
The historic farmstead in parts from the 18th Century is in a secluded location and is surrounded by forests, meadows and pastures.
Directly from the farm begins a huge, well signposted hiking area. Noteworthy roads can be found here, but quiet valleys and great views of the hills and valleys of the Bergisches Land near Cologne.
Other recreational opportunities, except our gardens with swimming pond, small sandy beach and wooden terrace, are various golf courses, the climbing forest K2, the Bergisches Freilichtmuseum, the quarries in Lindlar, industrial museum Engelskirchen, Saunaland Mediterrana Refrath, Altenberg Cathedral, stalactites and of course the cathedral city of Cologne.
All attractions are within 35 minutes' drive.
From mid-March, a very special time begins. Just in time for the daffodil bloom, our lambs are born. Annoying every year, but beautiful
The apartment "Vintage" has 60 m² and is divided into living / sleeping area, kitchen / dining room and a bathroom. A comfortable sofa and two reading chairs invite you to a cozy TV or reading evening.
The rooms are designed for two people.
You will find a full kitchen, stylish seating, a bathroom with towels and a 160cm sling bed.
Of course, a 42 "TV with Bluerayplayer and Wi-Fi available. However, the idyllic location of the Ommertalhof requires that we only have slow internet and limited download. Email, WhatsApp and surfing without much data is no problem.
The apartment is preceded by a balcony overlooking the Ommertal, embedded in the Tuscany garden part.
The apartment is built from historical, natural or used materials in the old cowshed.
Lovingly designed or restored furniture completes the ambience.
Unfortunately, the antique oven can not be used at the moment.
Upon request, you will get the big Ommertalhof breakfast at the time of your choice. It costs 10.50 € per person per day and is very rich, that you can start with a lot of energy to hike.
The garden and the yard have been featured in over 20 garden and living magazines.
In addition, the ARD has filmed numerous garden documentation here.
Take a look at the attached photos that say more than 1000 words.
Best regards from Ommertalhof
