Port Charlotte House Rental Photos and Description

Three bedroom, three bath, sleeps 6

A great house (3 bedrooms/3 baths) with new appliances, kitchen and bathrooms and is located just a mile from the fantastic Port Charlotte, Fl beach complex! Imagine, walking distance to Sunsets!

This home is roomy with 1,600 sq. ft. and offers wonderful views of the canal and a private dock, as it is on the end of the canal, which is rare... Fishing right from your private dock!

The home has been completely renovated inside with new bathrooms and kitchen cabinets, tile floors through out, and the furniture has been placed.

This is a lovely location for a seasonal rental and is in a nice quiet neighborhood with great neighbors too!

Close to shopping, restaurants, entertainments and some of the best beaches on the West Coast of Florida.

Florida at its best: South Gulf coast Florida has beautiful beaches and fantastic weather. Known for warm winters and clean beaches with clear water that invites year round water activities. More golf courses than you can play in a winter season, and shuffle board courts right down the street offer an opportunity to test your skills in friendly competition. Charlotte Harbor is known for its eco tourism with miles of marine life habitat waiting to be explored. Bring your fishing gear if you want to sample some of the best fishing in all of the Gulf of Mexico with several state and world tournaments right in the bay.

Relaxing stays: If you want to just lounge in the back yard, or head out for a day of shopping and movies. Everything you want is close by, or take in the entire south gulf area from this centrally located home. Easy drive to everything from city of Sarasota to Naples.

Boating and Golfing: A 10,000 LB boat lift in the back yard so you will have a quick and easy launch for your boat. There is over 150,000 acres of water in the adjoining aquatic preserves awaiting your discovery.

With over 100 golf courses in the area you will have an endless challenge.

Having a great time. Looks like a break in the weather so we will depart Sun, May 1 in the morning. Again, many thanks for your hospitality. We have enjoyed our stay.

Take care and give us a shout if you're up around the Cape.

Excellent House

  • 5 of 5

We found the house to be more than we expected. It was immaculate and comfortable. The location was perfect. It is on a quiet street but close enough to all the restaurants and shopping. It is also within walking distance to the beach. The owner was extremely helpful and answered all our questions. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this rental.

Very nice Florida home with many conveniences

  • 5 of 5

This is a very nice Florida home, clean and well maintained, with many conveniences. we had conscientious and accommodating hosts. The lanai is a wonderful outdoor space where we spent many hours, relaxing, reading and watching the birds on the water, even on cooler days. The dock was a nice feature for launching our kayaks. The new outdoor gas grill was a real pleasure to use.

The home is well-sized and well-equipped for the two of us, and has plenty of space for guests. The kitchen is well-furnished with everything we needed. The home has extra bedding and pillows for guests.

Parks and the beach are an easy walk or bike ride from the home. Shopping and restaurants are nearby and also easy to get to by walking, bike or car. There are 2 beach cruiser bikes which supplemented our 2 bikes for other family members.

We enjoyed the winter baseball in Port Charlotte and also used the Charlotte County Cultural Center and YMCA. Other Gulf Coast communities are an easy drive for sight-seeing, museums, state parks and environmental centers.

Amazing

  • 5 of 5

We were blown away by the atention to detail exhibited by the owners. There were top shelf cooking utensils, pots and pans, not what you would expect as a rentor. We rented for four months.

The house is at the end of a canal and affords a beautiful vew of the waterway. We had the best view of all the neighbors.

Across the street from the house is an open field where we would exercise our dog by throwing a ball.

The house is close to a beach one way and close to lots of shopping and restaurants the other way.

Like one of the other rentors, we found Edgewater United Methodist Church. Check it out and volunteer with them. We loved it.

We had a table break while there and a repairman arrived to fix it right away.

I don't know how it could have been better at this rental. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Great winter getaway!

  • 4 of 5

Patrick: We enjoyed staying at your home this winter. We found that the Port Charlotte/Punta Gorda area was an excellent, very afforadable location for the many activities we participate in. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. We especially enjoyed the large lanai overlooking the channel. John and Nancy

Pura Vida lived

  • 5 of 5

Upon entering this house you are immediately greeted with a large, comfortable living area with a large lanai and canal views. Two good sized bedrooms are on the right and a third on the left. All of the rooms are clean and well appointed.

The kitchen is one of the best equipped of any rental we have taken. The pots and pans, cutlery and china are outstanding both in use and feel.

The house is only a short distance from a city beach with tennis courts, boat ramps which open up to Port Charlotte harbor and the fishing that awaits you.

Local restaurants are quite good both in Port Charlotte and nearby Punta Gorda. Memorable are Portofino, Chaises, Benivito and the River City Grill.

The Tampa Bay spring training stadium is a short drive and Golf courses are plentiful. Highly recommended would be River Woods, Herron Creek, Bobcat Trail and Sarasota National to name a few.

Great family spot which I would recommend to anyone. A good value for the money.

Relaxing home away from home

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our vacation in this great old Florida style home with a saltwater canal right in the back yard. We sipped our morning coffee sitting in comfortable oversized chairs looking at the water as the sun rise changed the color of the skies. One of our favorite moments was to watch a Blue Heron about 3 feet tall glide down the canal and onto our dock to fish for breakfast! The home is on a quiet street and shopping is conveniently located near by. We found the home furnishings to be well appointed in Florida island style and the kitchen fully equipped for our stay. It was a short walk or even quicker bike ride to the beach park for some lounging with a book, watching the birds and dolphin, or fabulous sunsets. Many of our favorite spots on the Gulf Coast were a short drive away, and we suggest you try out all the beach locations that seem to offer different settings, like a beach side restaurant, secluded walks, or great shelling. The owners gave us some great suggestions for near by restaurants and were helpful with making our vacation a memorable one. We will definitely be returning for another vacation and highly recommend this home.

Owner's Response: We are happy that your family had a wonderful vacation in Florida. It was a pleasure having you stay in our home and hope you will return for future vacations. It is our intention to continue to improve the property and accessory items to make it as complete an experience as possible. Check back with us often to hear about our most recent upgrades such as the canoe that we added during your stay that can now be used by all future guests to explore the canals and other local waters, so thanks again for the great suggestion. Be sure to ask about our repeat guest discounts when scheduling your next vacation.

On the saltwater with the backyard facing north down a long canal gives wonderful sunrise and sunset views. Short walk to the local beach complex with fishing pier, tennis, basketball, bocce ball, volley ball, party rooms, picnic tables, and white sand palm lined beaches. Watch the birds and marine life from the living room, go on a cruise of the harbor or take the water taxis for a day long trip to the barrier islands. A great place to spend a week or a season with many attractions.

Other Activities: Eco tourism area of Southwest Florida with abundant wildlife tours
