Kensington is a very safe and nice part of London. Kensington Palace is just around the corner so you could say that Prince William and Kate are your neighbours.
Harumi, Mandy, Noriko purchased this apartment in 1980
The apartment is right next to Notting Hill Gate and High Street Kensington station and very close to the park.
The apartment was clean and nice. The placement for the apartment is central and there is good connections with busses every where.
From the start, finding and booking this apartment was easy, communication was great and we found everything exactly as described. We were met as agreed on arrival and shown around and left with Keys. The Apartment has 2 double sofa beds (Not very comfy for adults but OK if you lay a duvet down first, what sofa beds are comfy!!) in the lounge and a double bedroom (Very comfy bed) so capable of sleeping 6 people comfortably.
The separate kitchen is very well stocked with everything you would need to make meals etc, Coffee machine and microwave plus electric hob and grill.
The Bathroom has a large bath and good Shower (Although not really powerful)
The apartment has great central heating and hot water on demand, we found the apartment very hot most of the time but a few opened windows solved this, the windows are wooden sash and secondary glazing, sound proofing is adequate from the London noise with the secondary glazing shut.
We would use this apartment again with no hesitation, thank you City Apartments
We loved the flat's general location - convenient to stores, notable sites like Kensington Palace, and bus/rail lines. We happened to be there during very hot and humid days, so that was a bit uncomfortable, but the managers responded quickly and provided us with lovely fans. Furnishings are nice and we slept our family of six (including two under six) just fine.
We really enjoyed our week in this apartment. It's in a great location between Notting Hill Gate and High Street Kensington tube stations, lots of great restaurants and pubs nearby, plus Starbucks and Whole Foods.
The apartment had lots of room, well outfitted kitchen and spacious bath. We would definitely recommend this to friends and family.
A perfect weekend away with friends. Apartment wasn't the one I originally enquired about but was offered as an alternative. I couldn't have been more pleased as it turns out. Very spacious and elegant. Loved shopping on nearby Kensington High Street. Weather was good so had a picnic in Hyde park. Would recommend this apartment to others and friends of mine are looking to stay in 2015.
This apartment was perfect for our family of four's first visit to London. The Kensington neighborhood is quiet, but ideally located for touring the sights. It's more spacious than it looks in the photos. The Kensington High Street station is a few blocks away. There is a grocery store across the street, and various pubs, restaurants, cafes and bakeries within a couple of blocks. We really enjoyed our stay.
This flat is conveniently located for all the attractions of London whether it be Museums, Parks,Shopping,Exhibition Centres or Theatres. There is transport very close by, with underground from Notting Hill Gate or High Street Kensington both easy walking distance. There is good selection of bus routes right on the door step going directly to Chelsea, Harrods, Knightsbridge, Notting Hill, Portobello, Oxford Circus, Westfield & the West End areas of Piccadilly, Leicester Square and Covent Garden. For anyone wanting to get around by Bicycle, a Boris Bike station can be found very conveniently just around the corner.
