Big White Condo For Rent ----Graystoke Inn

Well appointed two-story family friendly condo with convenient ski-in ski- out location right on the ski run. Our condo is situated on the second and third floors of the Graystokes Inn. Main floor has a full kitchen with all amenities, dining area and living room with a top quality double sofa pull out with excellent high end mattress, electric fireplace, and 42 flatscreen HD TV. Brand new sliding glass doors and windows provide spectacular mountain views from the living room and balcony. Upstairs are two bedrooms, both with mountain views (queen bed in one, two twins in the other may be moved together to make king), and the bathroom. Also provided are two parking spaces, one under ground, one outside, a private ski locker, coin operated washers and dryers, shared sauna, and a shared games room complete with foos ball and ping pong. Our condo is conveniently located steps away from outdoor hot tub which offers views of mountain range during the day and starry night skies after dark. It is one of the few which enter from an outside hallway -- something we value greatly -- fresh air when you want it.

Graystoke Inn is located on Easy Street ski run just above Big White Ski Village, you put your skis on at the back door and away you go. It is a quiet family oriented building with manager on site. You will enjoy the convenience of being close to the village and the beautiful views of the Monashee Mountains from our balcony. If skiing and comfort are your priority, it is simply a great place to enjoy the slopes!

No Smoking, no pets. From $145 to $200 per night depending on dates requested.

About Sue Steinke

We are the original owners of the condo and have been skiing here since Big White's inception as a ski destination. Our unit is our family's winter vacation spot and getting together brings us much joy. Big White is renowned for fabulous Okanagan powder runs through the trees, beginner and expert groomed slopes, no-wait lineups. Night skiing too! We are not all downhill skiers and the expansive, groomed and natural cross country trails offer solitude for those who seek it, whether by xc skis or by snow shoe. Our family has enjoyed the ice-skating with hot chocolate, a gondola ride away. The kids love the tubing. Over the years, our unit has been well maintained and updated, as has the building itself.

Why Sue Steinke chose British Columbia

It is a fabulous ski destination with a great variety of runs, from expert to beginner. We were lucky enough to get this special unit view of mountains from deck as well as an outside entrance from which you can see the chair-lift runs. We love not having a door off an enclosed hallway. Our unit is also right beside the outside hot tub and steps away from the sauna and games room.

What makes this condo unique

We are situated with the great views of the Monashee Mountains. Every Saturday night and on New Year's Eve, we have a superb view of the fire works in the Village from our deck. Not only are we a ski-in and ski-out condominium, but we are a 5 minute walk down to the Village (restaurants, grocery store, child minding facilities). We can count on our unit to be a respectful quiet facility - having our helpful, friendly manager on site is a very good thing.

Great location, exactly what we were expecting

Sue and Wally were great - excellent communication and very responsive. The condo was great, older building but fantastic location and reasonably priced. If you're handy with ski/snowboard tuning bring your gear because they have a tuning room in the building. All-in-all a great stay for us, we had a blast (family of four).

Fantastic location, great for a family.

Great location - real ski in/ski out. Central to the village. Very comfortable and more imporatntly (to me anyway) very functional for a family of 4. Sue and Wally fantastic to deal with and made sure we were all OK pre and post stay. The mountain really surprised me as Big White is well known to Aussies as being a "family" mountain which usually means "pedestrian", but no - there is some awesome terrain here - and some great snow while were were there (early Jan to early Feb). The mountain is great for kids and we had some great days skiing together (even the 3 yo).

We had a blast!!!

A true ski in/ski out, spectacular view and close to the Plaza. The suite is well maintained, cozy , good size and well equipped with everything you need. The outdoor hot tub is just steps away.The owners were great to deal with they even had a nice gift basket when we arrived. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Place!

Just stayed with the family for the week and had a great time. The unit is very comfortable and is steps away from the hot tub. True ski in/out.

We are looking forward to booking this again next year.

Sue and Wally went above and beyond to make our stay at Big White the perfect holiday. The condo truly was ski in and ski out and only a few minutes walk to the base with all the restaurants. Highly recommended to stay at Graystoke! The price was right and the unit was perfect for the 4 of us.

Great view and awesome ski in/out location.

Right on Easy Out run(part of night skiing). Pleasantly surprised by the spacious bedrooms upstairs and fabulous view. Pantry and fridge had many condiments. Building manager, Daniel, was super helpful with our dead battery situation. Communal hot tub is very close to unit. Ample underground parking(fit our Escape with Thule on top). One minor downside is the only bathroom is upstairs. The location is a ten minute walk to village and restaurants(Blarney Stone was great for dinner). Lots of coin operated laundry machines. Very friendly neighbours; quiet building. Owner was easy to deal with. Highly recommend this unit.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your thoughtful review. Our unit, which has so many excellent features, has only the one bathroom which is upstairs, right next to the spacious bedrooms. There are extra bathrooms just upstairs and down the hallway near the sauna which are rarely used, but very convenient for us. We certainly agree that we are fortunate to have such an excellent manager on premises who is happy to help out whenever he's needed. We think having the hot tub just around the corner is a great feature too. Close walking access to the Village, and having the ski run right outside the hallway, and a great southern view, are all special features.
