120m2 (1300 sq. ft.) 2nd floor no lift, because of historically classed staircase. Spacious and handsome 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, with very large living/dining with fireplace. Eat-in kitchen. Laundry room with washer/dryer. LOTS of sun and very quiet. Cable TV ,Wi-Fi. Mostly wooden floors, very high (3.5meters) ceilings. Maid 2/ week. The BEST location !
Bedrooms: On one side of the apartment is the guest room w/ its own private shower room, a 120cm bed (very large single bed or small double bed) plus a single bed. On other side of the apartment is the single bedroom w/ a single bed, a baby's crib can be added. Next is the master bedroom w/ a large queen size bed (160X200cm.) The master bathroom has a tub/shower, WC, bidet. There is a 2nd WC in the hall.
Location: On a one-way street between rue de Grenelle and Blvd. St. Germain. The Church St. Germain des Près is a 5 min. walk with the famous cafés of 'Les Deux Magots', 'Café Flore', 'Brasserie Lipp', and some of the most exclusive boutiques in Paris. A great people watching paradise. The river Seine and Le Pont des Arts are a 10 mins. walk with all the cafés, restaurants, street markets, and art galleries along the way. The Louvre is just over this foot bridge. The Luxembourg Gardens and Place Saint Sulpice are less than 12 mins. on foot.
Comfort: Size is a luxury in Paris and here you have so much space so people are not on top of each other. The apartment is extremely quiet and light because the ceilings are so high and the windows are so big. There is a wonderful cleaning lady who comes 2 hours twice a week. Bedding is changed once a week and towels regularly. The owners are very close by to help you if needed.
Shopping: Easy, as there are 2 excellent large food stores open until late; Monoprix on the corner of rue de Rennes and Blvd. St. Germain across the street from the church. The Bon Marchés "La Grand Epicerie" which is Paris's most exciting food store is on the corner of rue de Sevres and blvd. Raspail, a 10 min. walk. There is a shopping trolley in the laundry room that you can borrow. Both stores also deliver. There are also weekly open air street markets on Blvd. Raspail Wed. and Fri., and the famous Bio market on Sundays. Rue de Buci/rue de Seine have street markets open all week.
The best location, right by the river so you can walk to almost every major museum , monument, tourist site.

Our week-long stay at this lovely apartment in the St. Germain arrondissement could not have been better. Located on a one-way street, with the bedrooms on the inner courtyard, this apartment provides absolute quiet for sleeping after days of walking the bustling streets of Paris. We would zip out in the morning to bring back fresh croissants for breakfast. Nearby is an incredible grocery adjoining Bon Marche. It puts to shame even the grandest Whole Foods in the US.
Betsy warmly welcomed us when we arrived, and she arranged for Luc, a driver, to deliver us to the airport for our early morning flight home. He was prompt and very helpful once we arrived at Charles de Gaulles airport.
We found we could walk almost anywhere we wanted to go: museums, restaurants, shops, cafes. I've already recommended this apartment to a friend who's planning a trip to Paris.
We had a wonderful week in St Germain with our 2 boys (6&9) and Nanny. The apartment was very functional with a beautiful large living/dining room with soaring ceilings. The owner's weren't able to meet us, and there was a slight problem with the key, but their daughter took us to a coffee shop and hauled all of our luggage up the stairs for us while she sorted out the key. Thank you very much.
The street is really quiet but only 100m to the main street of St Germain which has some very nice designer shops, cafes, restaurants etc. It is a 5 minute walk to the south bank of the Seine with its wonderful pop up bars and cafes - I highly recommend going down there at night.
Betsy and Catherine kindly let us park our new rental car in the courtyard the night before we left which was very useful and tough to find in Paris.

South of the Louvre and north of the Luxemburg Gardens, this beautiful apartment is well situated
for exploring Paris. It is large & bright - a luxurious and comfortable space that we were happy to
return to each evening. The large bedrooms, large living room and eat-in kitchen insured that
each of us had her own space plus space to be together. This feels like someone's home, not an
impersonal IKEA furnished rental property.
The only drawback is that the apartment has two bedrooms that are close to the full bathroom and
the small room with a toilet. The third bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a sink and a shower
and is situated on the other side of the apartment. To reach the toilet, the occupants of the third
bedroom needs to cross the living room and main hall, which can be an annoyance in the middle of
the night. (If you don't want to leave a light on all night, you might pack a flashlight.)
Our trans-Atlantic flight arrived very early and Betsy graciously greeted us at the apartment at
Contrary to a previous post, we found Luc to be a thoroughly reliable driver. He came on time
and got us to the airport early. Once there, he brought our bags into the terminal and made
sure we knew where to check in for our flights.
We had a fabulous holiday in Paris and this apartment was everything that we hoped for and more. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were pure luxury. High ceilings and space. The kitchen was very well equipped. The location was perfect. We were very happy to be so close to many wonderful shops and restaurants. The Metro was just a short distance away as was Monoprix! Easy check in with Betsy and a maid service – what more could you want.
Only criticism would be of the bathrooms – showers poorly designed and it was difficult not to spray water everywhere. Plenty of towels to mop up and superb laundry setting. Highly recommended.
Our family of five stayed here during our recent trip to Paris and it was a perfect home base for our adventures. Plenty of room for the five of us to sleep and great to have two bathrooms. The apartment is clean and spacious, has working wifi, a washer AND a dryer, and feels very safe and secure. The location is great -- we walked to Musee D'Orsay, Tuilleries, the Louvre, etc from here, as well as exploring the wonderful neighborhood of St. Germain des Pres. Also, there are two great metro stops right nearby that can get you to and from the train station, or Montmartre and Sacre Coeur, or anywhere else you want to go. Of course you can also walk to Bon Marche from here, and there are lots of fabulous sweet shops like Pierre Herme (macaroons) and Patisserie des Reves right nearby. Have a coffee and a croissant at Cafe Varenne and pick up your baguettes across the street, you will be glad you chose to stay here!
This aqpartment is the perfect place to stay in Paris. It has location as well as charm and comfort. I spent an enjoyable eight days here with two friends. The apartment is spacious, with all of the convenience of home. The WiFi connection allowed us to use our Smart Phones to keep in touch with family and friends in the USA. We got a feel of what it must be like to live in the exceptional city of Paris! Many thanks to Betsy for her help.
A word of caution - do not use Luc to transport you to and from the airport. He is unreliable. He was to meet us at the apartment at 8:00 a.m. to transport us to the airport on our departure day. He did not show up. We had to find another taxi, and one person in our party missed their flight. It cost an additional $1,000 for her to get another flight.
