The Sea Ranch is internationally known and revered for its attempt to blend man-made structures with their natural setting. This most picturesque area of California, 100 miles north of San Francisco dotted with distinctive homes, spreads for about ten miles on either side of Highway One in the coastal Sonoma County. With three swimming pools, saunas, tennis courts, a 18-hole championship golf course, and 45 miles of hiking trails that meander along the coastal cliffs, through meadows and forests, there is no shortage of outdoor activity for your Sea Ranch vacation. CANCELLATION POLICY: Dates will remain available until the Owner receives 50% (percent) of the total rental fee plus applicable taxes (hereafter referred to as the Deposit). The remaining balance is due 15 days prior to occupancy. Should you wish to cancel your reservation, notice of cancellation must be in writing or via email. Cancellation requests received 30 days or more prior to arrival date will incur a $20.00 booking fee and remaining Deposit will be refunded. If you cancel less than 30 days prior to occupancy and we are unable to re-rent the home for the same dates, no refund will be provided and all monies paid by guest will be forfeited to the Owner. Reservations made less than 15 days prior to occupancy will require the full amount paid by credit card.

Sea Ranch is without equal. The ocean, mountains, wildlife - a little something for everyone in one of the most pleasant and tranquil climates on the planet.
A four mile hike to Two Fish Bakery is definitely on the agenda to start each morning. The hike begins after stepping out the front door and into the coastal meadow which surrounds house. Slowly the pounding of the surf receeds as you make your way from the ocean and into the trees and up the ridge. Tall redwoods tower over head while ferns blanket the ground. Once conquering the ridge, a well-deserved sticky buns awaits at Two Fish and pleasant downhill walk home.
We really appreciate all of the attention to details that you and your wife obviously went through to make stays here enjoyable and comfortable. I have rented vacation houses for many years and can honestly say that your house is one of the best that I have encountered. Not only are the accommodations, furnishings and amenities nice, clean and comfortable, but all the little "homey" furnishings scattered around make your place feel very welcoming. The binder with all of the information is just amazing. I have never seen anything as well organized and instructive as that in a vacation rental. I mean, you even had instructions on use to use the light switches! The kitchen is well stocked with everything one needs to cook. One little suggestion is that it would have been nice if you had a dish drying rack available. We don't always like to use the dishwasher, especially when something just needs rinsing, so we hand washed quite a few things everyday and placed them on a towel on the counter top.
We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Sea Ranch. The house suited our family of four very well, with two super comfortable king size beds, a hot tub that we thoroughly enjoyed, and a lovely bottle of red wine waiting on the counter upon our arrival. We have never before rented a house that offered such a well stocked kitchen, so it was easy to cook delicious meals for ourselves. We enjoyed walking along the ocean cliff, exploring the redwood forest, watching the winter tide roll in and out again at the beach in Gualala. The market in town had everything we needed. Keith was super responsive to our inquiry and shared really thorough information and instructions before our stay. We very much appreciated his forethought so that no question went unanswered. Our only problem was that the ample supply of wood was damp due to the moist air (no fault of Keith), which made it difficult to build a raging fire. In the future we will plan to buy bundles of dry wood at the market. We highly recommend this property and would stay again if we return to the area. Thanks, Keith!!
The house was very well maintained, and had an Ocean view in the kitchen and the master bedroom. The owner was very responsive to my questions. There were dog towels for whipping little paws, which was a great little amenity. Very warm and inviting home to vacation during Christmas. A special thank you for providing a Christmas tree that was decorated.
What a wonderful home! Kitchen is well stocked and the house was very clean. A welcome book has everything you need...hiking trail maps, directions for how to use things in the house, etc. We felt so welcome in such a warm, cozy home...especially with the addition of the Christmas tree. Would absolutely stay in this home again.

Our family and dog enjoyed our time at this home. Home is very clean, organized and great layout. Kitchen was very well stocked and had just about everything we needed (with exception of garlic press and crab crackers). Bedding was very nice and comfortable beds. My husband and I and our friends had a great time at this beautiful house in Sea Ranch. The two bedrooms are great for 2 couples traveling together as they are very equal in size and amenities. The house is very comfortable with everything you would need for a short or longer stay. We cooked 2 dinners there and had everything we needed in the very well equipped kitchen. The new hot tub worked wonderfully. The house is in a good location for walking up to the bakery near the airport and along the coast trail. The house is very clean and well maintained. Keith, the owner got right back to us regarding any inquiries that we had and was very easy to work with. He sent our deposit back in a very timely manner. The description and pictures are very accurate. This was our second time staying here and I am sure that it won't be our last.
