My wife and I stayed with another couple in this condo and had a wonderful time. The condo is located in Yaletown, which is right in the center of everything. We never moved the car. 23rd floor with a wonderful view, the unit was clean and well appointed. Jeanne, the owner, was awesome to work with. Property has underground parking, a nice indoor pool and workout area. Recommend taking the tour to Victoria and Butchart gardens. The gardens are amazing. The Vancouver hop on and off bus tour is also worth your while. Walking in Stanley Park is a treat and there are many other attractions in Vancouver which may interest you. We picked a great place to stay and highly recommend this condo.
I visited for 15 nights with my brother. It was the ideal location. I am physically disabled, however I can walk short distances using a crutch. Because of the location I was able to walk to all the; music and entertainment venues, restaurants, shops, department stores and bus stops. Public transport is fully disabled accessible so I used the bus a lot when I was not able to walk. The flat is well-equipped which was important for me because I had been travelling for two weeks prior to visiting Vancouver and needed to do a lot of washing! So having a washer dryer was brilliant! It was great having two bathrooms one of which had a shower cubicle (as well as the toilet) which was accessible for me. The owners have thought of everything including a folder providing lots of information regarding amenities etc. Wi-Fi worked well. The instructions for collecting the key etc were very clear and accurate. I love swimming so with a bit of manoeuvering (i.e. shuffling on my bum up and down the steps in the pool) I was able to use the swimming pool which was great. My brother used the gym which he found fine. There are some lovely restaurants nearby which we visited we had a very wide choice! We were also very close to department stores and supermarkets, and smoothie cafes. People were so friendly and helpful. We went to many activities by public transport; the buses and metro are fully accessIble. For example they lower the floor of the bus to enable people with reduced mobility to board and they have an electronic ramp for wheelchair users. The bus drivers also asked for your destination so that s/he could lower the bus or extend the ramp for me and any passengers with reduced mobility to get off the bus. I used a taxi from the airport to the apartment, however if you are not disabled, use the Metro or skytrain,I think it's called, from the airport to a stop in Yale town as it is very near to the apartment. We did many activities including: visiting the museum of anthropology which was amazing, going to Granville island, we saw Lauryn Hill, Toots and The Maytals. Dawn Pemberton was amazing at the free Vancouver Jazz festival which was wonderful. We went to the Picasso exhibition. We went to Whistler - the scenery was beautiful from the cable car and to Stanley Park. Staying at this centrally located well-equipped apartment enabled us to do so many activities. I would definitely stay here again massive thanks to J & D😍
Fantastic condo, great location, you can walk everywhere. The condo Very well equipped.
The apartment is well equipped and welcoming. Fantastic coffee shops and restaurants are a few minutes of walking away. Grocery stores and wine shops are close by - if you want to cook in the well equipped kitchen and enjoy a meal on the patio (seats 2 comfortably). Communication was excellent and easy, as was finding the apartment and getting the instructions and key.
You really do not need (or want) a car if you are spending time in Vancouver, or heading to Vancouver Island. If you happen to have a car, secure parking is available in the building (really nice).
The building has a nice gym, a lap pool, a jacuzzi and two dry steam rooms available for your use.
A great place, at a great location - I'll be back!
We stayed a week in this beautiful and comfortable apartment right in the center of downtown. The location is perfect, parking included, and being on the 23 rd floor the view is also great. The whole of central Vancouver right outside the door, shooping, cafes, restaurant. We also enjoyed the gym and pool available in the building. The contact with the owners has worked perfectly, quick responses and very clear information. We would love to stay again (but unfortunately it could be a while, since we live in Sweden :-)).
The owners of the property were very easy to deal with and responded quickly to queries. We stayed for 7 nights. The apartment is in a very central location so rather than take a hop on hop off bus tour we walked to many of the tourist attractions and took a short bus ride to others. On our first day we walked to the Dr Sun Yat Sen Gardens in China town, then to the Steam Clock in Gas town then to Canada Place and the Flyover Canada experience at Harbour front and still had plenty of time to spare (and we are not spring chickens and more!). On other days we took a short bus ride (bus stops within a few minutes walk of the apartment) to Granville Island, Stanley Park and Museum of Anthropology. And for a day trip to Whistler which was the highlight for us, got picked up at a hotel round the corner. So you really don't need a car to enjoy Vancouver. Lots of restaurants and shops also within 5 - 10 minutes walk. We were out a lot, but what little time we spent in the apartment was very comfortable. It was a bit chilly to sit out in the balcony but the view was wonderful and would be great for relaxing on warmer evenings. All in all, would highly recommend - far better than staying in a hotel!
