Located 450 feet above and 1/2 mile back from the Pacific beach, there is an unrestricted view of the Ocean and the sandy beach. A truly impressive view, it is fascinating to watch the daily parade of cruise ships, yachts, and whales.
Included is a loaner car which will allow you to tour the area and visit interesting places most tourists never have the opportunity to see. Alternatively we offer free private shuttle service once per day to any local destination and return.
The house is beautifully designed and is squeaky clean. Basic maid service is included twice weekly.
The area is very peaceful and crime free, Casa Pacifica is located at the end of a dead end street so there is no traffic or disturbances. It is just 1 1/2 miles from downtown, a quick drive on good paved roads.
Your hosts / caretakers live on a separate level of the house which has it's own entrance so you will have privacy, but with the convenience of assistance or advice at any time.

We are a retired couple, and rent the house primarily as an enjoyable way to meet interesting people, making a profit is not our driving purpose.
Tom purchased this house in 1990
Because it is very beautiful and has the best weather in the world.
Watching the ocean and the various things going on there.
We travel often to Cabo as it is one of our favorite destinations. We've stayed in different places around Cabo and chose this one because it was on the Pacific side and because of the value as well. Tom and Rosemary are wonderful hosts and they live on the separate third level of the house. They have been in Cabo since 1989 and it is enjoyable to hear stories from Tom as to how Cabo has changed and grown over the years. He is a wealth of information. :-) Our family of four plus our daughter's friend (two adults and three teenagers) stayed on the second level of the home which provided plenty of room for all of us. The patio overlooking the ocean is where we ate most of our meals and enjoyed peaceful relaxation time while hearing the ocean's crashing waves below. The Pacific breeze is so nice which is what you don't get when staying on the other side of Cabo. The private pool on the back patio is very refreshing especially on the hot July days. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and at the end of the road so no traffic noise and we felt secure at all times. Tom picked us up from the airport and drove us back to the airport at the end of our stay (about a 30 minute drive from the airport to Cabo) which was greatly appreciated as we know how much taxi companies charge. Internet access and local cell phone were nice to have. They also provided three huge jugs of filtered water during our stay. The use of an insured vehicle during the week was an added bonus as we spent the week volunteering with Feeding Los Cabos Kids and drove somewhere everyday. We are used to driving around Cabo and the Mexican way of driving so we had no issues getting around. Mega (now LaComer) grocery store is nearby as well as downtown and the marina. You can park for 4 hours in the parking garage of the mall near the marina for about $1.50 US. Local public beaches (Chilleno and Santa Maria) other than crowded Medano Beach are about 20 minutes away. The first day we were there we drove to Costco and to LaComer to get our groceries for the week. We cooked most meals at Casa Pacifica in the well-equipped kitchen. Housekeeping services mid-week was an unexpected treat. If Casa Pacifica is available for our future trips to Cabo, we would definitely stay here again. Tom was also very prompt in responding to our questions via email. If you like visiting Cabo more like a local and not in a tourist resort and enjoy peace and quiet then we highly recommend this Casa for your stay.
There was 4 in my party who enjoyed the very clean and comfortable home of Tom and Rosemary. Tom was so accommodating, warm and helpful - picked us up from the airport, stopped at a grocery to pick up what we needed, and offered daily trips into town. But my brother-in-law drove us each day - easy to get around, and only a short drive into great shopping area. Most shop owners spoke enough English and offered sales in American dollars. The local food was over the top at about every place we ate - including the Italian place, Romeo and Julietta! Don't miss the little bar, Two for the Road! We went deep sea fishing and caught a striped marlin. The view from the condo was spectacular, and the private pool a real treat! Weather was perfect! Beaches were a short drive away - but worth it! Very affordable and super value!!!
