Quaint lakeside cottage- amazing views, well kept, great location

  • 5 of 5

Tim was wonderful to deal with... the cottage was just as shown in the listing- all linens and towels are provided. The views are unbeatable and the location was perfect!! Definitely WELL worth the money, yet such a great deal! Hidden gem for sure!

The cottage is located just a few yards from the railroad tracks, which worried us a bit at first but we were there all weekend and not even one train came by!!

My only suggestion to the owner would be to either cover the fire wood with a tarp or have an indoor location to store some of it- all the wood was a bit damp so it was really difficult to get our fire started in the fire pit. Other than that, we LOVED this house!! So close to the wine trail and we had a wonderful Bachelorette girls' weekend. Thanks!!

Wonderful and cozy stay

  • 5 of 5

Clean with beautiful views. Everything clearly labeled. Enjoyed the kayaks, the fire ring on the shore, the thrill of the train going by and the location on the beer and wine trail. Water was HOT! Bed was comfortable and the heat worked quickly and efficiently. Tim responded quickly to all inquiries. Loved the nautical décor. Cottage is exactly as advertised. This is just what a lake cottage should look like. Highly recommend!

Relaxing Cottage on the Lake for Our Anniversary

  • 5 of 5

The cottage was very cute and is in a great area for wine tasting. Right up the road from Fox Run Winery and close to Geneva or Penn Yan for . The cottage sits right next to railroad tracks, but we only saw 1 train all weekend. It was pretty chilly 1 of the days we we were there. We sat in front of the gas fireplace warm up. If its nice out you can sit outside by the lake. You can see the lake from almost every room in cottage. It was nice waking up to the sunrise on the lake right from the bed on the porch. The bed on the porch was very comfortable. The house has everything you need for a weekend or a weeks stay. There is a Keurig coffee machine if you want to bring your own k cups, or you can use the regular coffee maker. If the weather was warmer we could have sat on the little deck outside. There are cards and some games if the weather isn't great, or you can watch t.v. This vacation home was the nicest one my husband and I have stayed in. We always rent a cottage for our anniversary and this one was the best one so far. Tim the owner answered all of our questions right away. It is a little gem on Seneca Lake. I would recommend this cottage to anyone. We can't wait to go back.

Great Weekend Trip

  • 5 of 5

We spent two nights at the cottage. We were very happy with everything. The cottage provides so much and the location was great. The owner was very helpful and responsive. Can't beat this place and we hope to be back. It's centrally located to all the wineries and breweries.
