Not as advertized - owners and VACASA unresponsive

Horrible experience. Promised garage had car parked in it and no alternatives provided or suggested by either owner or VACASA (and overnight street parking illegal); advertized BBQ was rusted out, so clearly non-functional for long time; clogged bathroom sink required that we brush our teeth in the shower - and promised repairs never happened (VACASA call center is in Belise); only 1 of 4 TVs worked - rest had missing or non-functional remotes or didn't have reqired programing for promised streaming service; no instructions for how to work gas fireplace, where to put garbage/recycling, when to move car for snow plow (resulting in threating notice to tow); loose stair bannister made walking up steep stairs to main living area downright scary; stained carpet and couch was disqusting and far beyond normal wear and tear; and pleated shades didn't work so any views were fully obstructed. This rental should not be allowed to be listed until major repairs and corrections are made, and this experience will make us forever suspicious of VRBO and VACASA rentals. Oh, and don't believe the "dog friendly" designation. Your dog has to be under 25 lbs, and they charge a ridiculous daily fee for the dog. The rental also has additional undescribed adminstrative/management "fees" that make the actual daily cost of the unit far more expensive than initially advertized.

Send in a handyman!

We arrived well after check in and the cleaning crew was still there. The kitchen faucet was literally hanging in the sink. After I crawled under the sink to secure the faucet I found out that there is no hot water pressure to the kitchen sink. Then I brushed my teeth in the master bathroom sink and it wouldn't drain. Someone used bright white touch up paint on the off white walls. Vacasa assured me they would take care of it but never did. We left early just to get back to "civilization"👎

Be The First in the Lift Line

Great location for a guys trip walking distance to the Warm Springs Lodge. Great side of the mountain to start and end the day on as it's quieter. Met the owners briefly and they seemed very nice! Would definitely look at this property or something in the same neighborhood again.

Needs a plumber, carpenter, and light bulbs

Toilet on main floor keeps running, needs new flapper in tank, kitchen faucet needs to be mounted better, snow should be taken out of driveway instead of pushing it to fence 10 foot berm, the upstairs rail should be attach to mounts, lightbulbs replacement in microwave, many lamps, and bathrooms.
