Across the Street / Ocean Front!!! This beautiful and extremely clean unit is truly one of the most desirable for easy walking to all the amenities in the village of Kailua-Kona, and just one half mile from the pier. It is the most affordable and updated ocean front unit.

You can relax on the lanai and enjoy watching people walk by, cruise ships coming in and out of the harbor and spectacular Ocean Sunsets. You might decide to sit on the sandy beach across the street and experience a peace of serenity or Browse through quaint village shops. Walk a block to Kona coffee and a papaya breakfast while sitting at tables in the sand at ocean's edge.

Enjoy romantic casual dining with a Mai Tai or Micro and a fresh Catch of the Day. The Farmers Market is just a 1/2 block away enjoy fresh fruit, veggies and flowers. The Islander Inn has a great swimming pool and hot tub, barbecue your steak to take back to the lanai while enjoying the views. Everyone who stays here has not regretted it! Come enjoy and relax. Perfect Location!

My husband and I had a great time. He loved the place! It was the best location for us. We were able to discover the Kona side of the island from a central position. We sat on the lanai in the mornings and had our wonderful coffee. Thank you for making everything we needed available to us. You did a great job of interior designing with a limited amount of space. Be aware, read the information on other posts and remember there is limited parking. Also they were putting up solar panels the week we were there and the workers took up extra spaces so it was limited. We adjusted. We kind of got addicted to Java Lava (2 doors down) and their coffee and Internet. Best place for live music! Thank you again for making our vacation wonderful.

Recommended - walk around Kona

We stayed in Kona for four nights, and wanted a place where we could walk around town. This condo was as described, with easy check-in and a clean, tidy space. We arrived a little early and since the room was ready, they let us in early. We rarely heard noise from neighbors - perhaps a chair or footsteps a few times, but certainly not voices. The lanai was nice - on the west side facing the ocean, looking across Ali'i Drive. You could watch people walking by, but they weren't so close that you lacked privacy. The Kona Islander Inn is not a resort, but this was a very nice value if you don't need posh. The (small) shower an the toilet are separated from the counter/sink area, which is in shared space with the kitchen sink and small fridge. You wouldn't want to cook meals here, but it was nice to have a place to keep drinks and snacks. We would stay here again. Thank you, Ann.

Cozy Studio

We enjoyed our stay at the Kona Islander Inn. The on site staff was very nice and helpful. The location of this property was perfect. Directly across the street from the ocean. Most of our time when at the property was on the Lani. It was an absolutely beautiful setting. We watched the waves in the morning, the people at noon, and the gorgeous sunsets in the evenings. The pool and hot tub were very nice and nestled in the middle of the gardens. We were right in the middle of the restaurants and activities of Kailua-Kona and walked through the little stores and the Farmer's market several times.

The studio apartment was clean and very adequate for our needs. The bed was comfortable and the cool breeze blowing through the apartment was quite nice. We would recommend it to our friends and family and would stay there again.

Wonderful experience.

We were very happy with our stay. The location was perfect and the view was great; the decor was lovely and the room was clean. Ann was very accommodating with our request to check in early. We will definitely be staying here again.

Love this condo!

This is the second visit to this charming condo. It's perfectly located to all of the activity we were involved in and it is perfectly set up and clean! Hope to return again next year!
