Loggerhead Cay is a popular, family friendly complex located on the Gulf of Mexico. It has one of the largest pools on the island and the entire complex is professionally maintained by onsite management. The complex also has 2 tennis courts, shuffleboard, BBQ grills and a snack area by the pool.

Unit 214 has a gulf view and overlooks the pool. The condo is professionally cleaned and maintained by a management company.

We treat our guests like family and our condo has all the comforts of home. We love sharing our condo with those who value everything that Sanibel stands for.

My husband and I grew up in New Jersey and we LOVE the ocean. Ever since we honeymooned in Sanibel we've been going back to vacation as often as we can. As our family grew, we found Sanibel to be the perfect place to take the kids. They couldn't get enough of the ocean, the shelling, the fishing and being close to nature. They were just amazed the first time we took them swimming in the gulf and they pulled starfish and sand dollars out of the water. They said, 'Wow, it's like swimming in giant a fish tank!' There was no question, we had to invest in our own 'Sanibel Get Away.' We hope you'll enjoy all that Sanibel has to offer. You'll want to keep coming back too!

We decided to buy a condo in Sanibel because we love the beauty of the island. The beaches, the shelling, the fishing are fantastic. There are no traffic lights and there are no buildings with more than four floors. The island revolves around nature and we feel like we are in another world when we are here.

Loggerhead Cay is family friendly. The large open courtyard is perfect for socializing, playing catch or flying a kite. The pool is large enough for lap swimming. You will definitely make new friends at Loggerhead Cay.

This Condo and the Location were Amazing!

The photos look great, but they don't do this condo justice! We stayed for a week in January and we left the doors to the porch open all week! Layout is amazing, with master BR on one side of condo, and guest BR on the kitchen side. Very spacious and plenty of room to spread out. We LOVED the screened porch with 2 sides that opened to the condo. The pool was very nice and well kept, and the view of the ocean was the icing on top. Being able to walk to the beach from the condo was a huge plus! Furnishings were nice, condo was clean and up to date. Couldn't have asked for more! If we travel to Sanibel again we'd definitely rebook this unit!

OUTSTANDING!!!

We have stayed at other units in the complex, but this was the first time at this condo . It really is special-very clean and well decorated. The kitchen included everything you could need and it was in great condition-from the silverware to the pots and pans! The bathrooms were spotless. The beach chairs and towels were plentiful. The carpet looks new. The porch was really nice especially since it was sunny the in morning and shady in the afternoon. We hope to stay again soon!

Ok- but not outstanding

We've stayed in several Loggerhead Cay condos. This one is nicely furnished, great view and location as long as you don't mind the 4 flights of stairs. Kitchen is well stocked and has most everything needed for cooking a variety of meals. Beach chairs provided are good quality. Beach towels were few in number and poor quality.

Downside to condo.. carpet is worn and wasn't particularly clean. Master bath shower doesn't drain properly anid along with some black along the caulk line is kind of gross.Same thing in the guest bath as far as the black all around the caulk line...which I assume is mold. Some chips in the wall paint around the condo give it a less than quality feel. A few large areas in the living room have had a very amateurish repair job to the wall surface and it looks awful. For the amount per night during a slower season I'd say it's a bargain but for the jacked up Spring break price...I'd say we're a little disappointed.

We use it ourselves in the off season. Our condo is managed by Royal Shell Vacations which is located on the island. I forwarded your email on to them. Housekeeping has already rectified the bathroom and carpet issues. Additional beach towels have been placed in the unit. Remember, you can always take the elevator in the building if you don't want to take the stairs. Also remember that Royal Shell is at your service 24/7 for any issues you may encounter. We hope you will come visit us again soon.

Awesome Condo

This is a spacious condo that overlooks the pool and is a short walk to the beach. The condo easily accommodated our group of 4 and it was a nice, quiet top floor unit. The owner was a pleasure to work with and helped us find some nice restaurants and sites on Sanibel. Great experience.

Visit To Paradise! Excellent Value!

We were lucky to find such a lovely unit that allows pets. We loved this condo and so did our dachshund! It is clean and beautifully decorated. The unit had everything we needed to cook and dine at home when we chose to do so. And let me rave about the glorious view we could see from the lanai. The large pool was always warm and the grounds were very well kept. My husband loves to fish and has caught a wide variety of fish right from the shore of the complex! Leave your worries behind and enjoy this piece of paradise!

We Had A Great Time!

This was a great rental. The place is spacious and has a great layout. It has everything you could want for your vacation, including beach towels and beach chairs. And the location is perfect. The beach was beautiful and not crowded. The condo is close to groceries, restaurants and the wildlife refuge (which is definitely worth a trip). We even walked to Dairy Queen one night! If you like to bike or run, there is a bike trail across the street that takes you all the way to the beach at the east end of the island. If you like to swim laps, the pool at Loggerhead is large enough to do so. In addition, the onsite tennis courts and barbecue grills were great! We really enjoyed playing shuffleboard too! If you are looking for the perfect place for a beach vacation on Sanibel Island, this is it. We definitely hope to stay here again, soon!
