HOME AWAY FROM HOME

  • 5 of 5

This was our 2nd year at the Rillerah and we're going to make it an annual event. This is a reunion of the men of our family: myself, my 2 brothers, and my dad who is a very healthy 90. We all went on nearby hikes and the brothers would catch their limit of trout daily. The best part was eating those trout while enjoying the amazing river view through the picture window as rafters went waving by. Late afternoons on the porch very relaxing as the day winds down, the last of the rafters roll by, and the tales of the days great fishing adventures begin. The house itself has every thing we or most anyone could want. The local market was a short walk away to get the morning paper, any needed items, and a refreshing ice cream cone after an afternoons hike. Already looking forward to next years get together at our home away from home.

OUTSTANDING IN EVERY WAY!

  • 5 of 5

This house is incredible in every way! The view, the cleanliness, the fact that they have a fully stocked kitchen so cooking is EASY, complete laundry facilities with detergent included. They just made our visit so easy that we could relax and completely enjoy our hikes. They even left recommendations for nearby hikes which we tried and were glad we did. We especially loved the layout of the house and the two porches. It is a perfect house for couples traveling together who want a little space apart and then some communal space. The view from the dining room is killer and you may never want to go home.

FABULOUS!!!

  • 5 of 5

We had the good fortune to stay at the Rillerah in mid-June to watch our daughter compete at the Olympic Trials in Eugene! What a treat!!! The home was fabulous...everything about it was perfect! I already miss falling asleep to the sounds of the roaring McKenzie River. The view was incredible. We enjoyed hiking, fishing and a scenic tour through the valley. A great place to kick back, relax and just read a book too. Very serene and quiet. We will definitely go back!
