As you step inside this corner condo, you'll be greeted by fantastic natural light, waterfront views on two sides, and the comfort of central air conditioning. There's a full kitchen (with a dishwasher), a private washer/dryer, free WiFi throughout, and TVs in the living room and both bedrooms.

Thunder Island is a bayfront property that's wonderful for beach-goers, convention attendees, and boating enthusiasts alike. On the grounds, you'll find an outdoor pool and a dock (the dock is available for an additional fee); right next door is the Roland E. Powell Convention Center. You'll be less than two blocks from the ocean beach and within walking distance of midtown's many restaurants, shops, bars, mini-golf courses, and other attractions.

Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Thunder Island 25 A

Rented at Thunder Island 25A. The only thing nice about this place was the view. You pay for professional cleaning services , but the place was disgustingly dirty. My husband and I called to complain about how dirty the rental was once we arrived and I was told to send pics which we did. They were not willing to send anyone out. My husband who has stage 4 lung and brain cancer cleaned the unit which took us over an hour. Before my daughter and my granddaughter arrived. I was embarrassed that we rented such a dirty unit. To pay the money that we did we definitely were expecting something that was going to be comfortable and clean. The furniture was visible dirty and was not fit to sit on . Found multiple items from previous renters in and under furniture. When turning tv’s on message on screen said to make payment as soon as possible. When calling about this issue was sent to an automated system. The master bed was so uncomfortable my husband was having so much trouble getting in and out of bed. The only thing they told me was the we’re going to reimburse us the cleaning amount. Wow ! Never again.

Outdated, Filthy, Broken Chairs

We booked this place knowing it needed updating and I was ok with that. However, what I'm not ok with is that the place it was very filthy. The furniture was so dirty that we covered the couch and chairs with sheets the entire time. Each of the dining room chairs had three cushions on them which we realized later was because the chair bottoms were busted through. We were not able to use these chairs which meant the five of us could not eat meals at the table together. There were dirty dishes in the cabinets and the silverware was dirty... we literally washed everything before we used it. The tile floors were so dirty that we covered them with towels. Vacasa's customer service was horrible, in fact the worst I've ever experienced... after about 100 text messages and pictures, they felt like half the cleaning fee which was $75, was compensation enough. I called the main number several times and was told I would receive a call back and that didn't happen. I went to their local office to speak to the manager who was not in but I was given their business card... but when I called them, the call was redirected to the main number and never spoke to the manager. This was my first experience with their company and its unfortunate that they have such lousy customer service... and I'm beyond dissatisfied...

Family Vacay 2023

Thunder Island is the perfect location to enjoy great food locations, entertainment, shopping and the beach. The best part is the serene and peacefulness of the bay. This particular unit is a bit dated, but still has all you need for some quality family time to relax and recharge.
