Vacasa - Vacation Rentals Made Easy:
Professionally managed and cleaned homes
Local assistance 24/7 for emergencies
Secure INSTANT booking
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
We just stayed in September at this property. Great house, very updated. If you like to watch the tide on the rocks this is the place.
We decided to elope while in Yachats at Cape Pepetua. It was beautiful! We stayed here for 3 days and enjoyed it very much. The rental and the views can't be beat. Clean, spacious place, and the hot tub was a nice bonus! We couldn't be happier. :)
We enjoyed our stay at this property and exploring this area of the Oregon Coast. It was very peaceful, although not private by any means. We enjoyed watching whales off the front lanai, exploring the tidepools, nearby beaches and viewpoints, and surrounding towns and would return again. Our disappointment was mainly in the first impressions of cleanliness and maintenance explained elsewhere. We realize it's tough to be on the ocean and keep up but this property could have used a little TLC. Even so, we enjoyed it in the end and would probably return.
My husband, I, our three children and my parents stayed here recently. The upper level was plenty big with two living areas and one room with 4beds(bunk). One bathroom is huge and the other smaller but it was still fine for all of us. There were quite a few pots and pans, knives, tools etc. My only suggestion would be to replace the coffee pot with a more user friendly one(the design of it is such that it spills when pouring) There were coffee beans but no grinder to be found. The only other suggestion is to replace the mattress in the room with the sliding door. It's not very comfortable. Other than that it was an amazing place to stay and we wouldn't hesitate to go back! It was very clean and the location was great! Lots of amazing tidal pools in the back yard. Unfortunately it was a little too cold to get in the hot tub so we didn't take advantage of that (maybe next time).
We saw a resident bald eagle flying over every morning we were there(early) and one evening two were flying right past the deck. Lots of crabs, sea anemones and even a few starfish (a lot have died from the wasting disease but are making a comeback). The really cool thing we saw from the kitchen window was a mother seal with her pup on the rocks so we walked out closer to get some awesome photos.
The food in town was amazing! Ona,(lunch) The Drift Inn(had breakfast and dessert one day) and Heidi's Italian (had dinner) were all amazing! A lot of great shops there as well with local high quality made goods. Fudge at the ice cream shop was so good! Head down to cape Perpetua to see an amazing tree almost 700 years old with 40 ft circumference!
There's also a beautiful lighthouse but we ran out of time to see it. We did however head down to Florence and had fun at the sand dunes! There's also a stable on the way down that does horse rides out to the dunes and onto the beach. We didn't have time to do it and weather was a little too cold but I'll be doing that when we come back in a few years. Yachats is the place to relax and just be. If you need to party it's not the place for you. If you want quiet peaceful nature views and relaxation with great food and very friendly people in the town then don't hesitate to come here!
