Our stay at your home was way beyond our expectations! The pictures do not do justice to the property and the home is wonderfully decorated. The amenities make this a very relazing place to stay. Every detail is provided for just just as if you were in your own home. The layout of the home allows not only for a large number of people but provides alot of privacy also. The best part of our visit was provided by the personal attention given to us by Kerry & Tina who not only made us feel at home but also provided us with much local info, They made us feel like part of their family just staying for a family visit! We also met some of the neighbors who extended great hospitality to us.
We highly recommend this location for everyone looking to for an exquisite location with special southern hospitality.
Do not pass this home or you will miss the true experience of the Bluegrass County. Thanks for the Balls for all their hard work to make our experience possible!
We recently stayed at this spectacular home. Twelve friends spent 4 nights. Everyone had a comfortable bedroom and a convenient private bath. The kitchen provided a very inviting venue for visiting and telling stories of days gone by. We had ample room to visit around the spacious kitchen island as we cooked in this fabulous gourmet kitchen. We grilled steaks with all the extras. The cooks were involved in the conversation as we all were either around the kitchen island or enjoying the view on the deck. The kitchen, a large dining table, island seating, a bar, TV sitting area, and the deck are all staged in a manner to allow for great flow of people and activity. We have rented VRBO's 5 or 6 times. Our experience this time was by far our best experience. The home was very clean. Also, very well decorated and maintained. The owners were very helpful...they recommended restaurants and other entertainment venues. We highly recommend this home if you need a home in the Lexington area. PS. I haven't even mentioned the walkout lower level with the giant screen television.
When my daughters team qualified for Nationals the search began for a home that could provide a wonderful space for the parents to share this incredible and exciting time together! Imagine our excitement when I found Tina's home, that the four couples could enjoy together for five days. When we arrived everything was perfect, plenty of room for all of us to share with numerous spaces for anyone needing to do a little work.
Most of our days were spent at the Kentucky horse park watching our girls compete, but the evenings were filled with grilling, conversation and laughter! We enjoyed sitting on the deck enjoying wine and some of us a new found love for Bourbon! This home definitely was a wonderful home away from home and lasting memories of a lifetime were made!
Several blue ribbons, a sportsmanship award and a fourth place finish for our team was definitely exciting, However, my daughter being a senior and in the final decisions of choosing her college this trip finalized the deal. This home was in the perfect location for the Kentucky Horse park, Keenland, and the University of Kentucky! We were able to visit UK once again and make the decision that this school was the perfect fit for her and her career path of animal science/pre-veterinary. When we shared the news with Tina, she was so excited for our daughter and family! She went the extra mile to help us with housing for her orientation and extended a sincere friendship of being there for our daughter if anything should arise.
Tina and Kerry are such wonderful people, and we are so excited to start the next four years with a friendship already in place!
Their beautiful home provided everyone with a incredible memory of IEA 2016 Nationals, and a lasting friendship for years to come!
We stayed at this home for four days for Rolex. This was a trip for a bunch of girls from my barn. We loved being able to have space to hang out, grill, and fix meals together. We bought our tix for next year today. If we have a similar large group I'm sure we will think about staying here again!
We recently rented this beautiful house for the breeders cup horse race. The owners were very cordial and everything met our expectation. I would highly recommend this property.
8 friends - 4 couples- rented this home for 4 days and really enjoyed our stay. We were in Lexington for Football, Keeneland, Bourbon tours and an opportunity to reconnect from our college days of 30 years prior! Tina was easy to work with over the phone to get everything set up and Kerry greated us upon arrival, showed us around the house and how to opperate TV's, grill... An info sheet with further instructions and restaurant suggestions was also provided and we took advantage of breakfast at Windy Corner Market - well worth the short drive through beautiful countryside! Lots of space in the home to spread out and the kitchen was great for cooking a few meals and all to be together around the table to share laughter and stories. If we are back in Lexington with a large group we will definately rent from Tina and Kerry again.
We rented this property for 10 days during a horse competition. It was an easy drive to horse park and felt like you were in a country getaway after long days at horse park! We had all the family (8) and everyone was comfortably independent in their own cozy rooms with bathrooms. The home was so spacious and fun to hang out in the evenings and watch tv in the theatre Room. We cooked most evenings in the fabulous kitchen which was well stocked. The owners couldn't have been more hospitable arranging dinner reservations the night we arrived and offering their advice on the local restaurants. We are hoping to get back to horse park this year and would definitely stay at this property again.
