Spacious, Updated and Airy Condo with Large Lanai

  • 5 of 5

This unit is an end unit perfectly located so that the tropical breezes blow through and keep the unit cool. The large lanai is excellent for watching the palm trees sway! The unit was furnished and supplied with everything we needed. Both bathrooms have been updated in a spa like atmosphere. Love the open beam ceilings throughout the home. I highly recommend this unit.

Comfortable and beautiful stay at Unit 245!

  • 5 of 5

From the moment we walked through the door, we loved this place. The tiled floors and unit layout presented all the comforts of home. Having a corner unit is a plus, as you can open all doors, have the fans going, and the breeze keeps the condo at a nice temperature. The large Lanai has two lounge chairs and nice table to dine, and plenty of area for sun or shade. Also, there is quite a lot of privacy as a large tree is directly behind the master bedroom. The bathrooms have all tile and wonderful shower, and the place was stocked with bath tissue, soap, paper towels, dish/dishwasher soaps, and laundry detergent, and everything you need to bake and cook. Location to pool, tennis courts, and BBQ very close.

Everything was in working order, except sliding door screens were sticky and living room ones may need repair, and the shudders difficult to move and adjust. But, that was it! All else was perfect. We would definitely come back and stay here! Thank you Dan and Laura for your awesome condo. And, all information and communication was clear and concise.

We loved the West side of Molokai too....thought the whole area's history was fascinating! The manager, Mike, was a wealth of information. Nice guy!

Thank you again!!

Mahalo Nui Loa

  • 5 of 5

This was our first trip to Molokai after many years of going to Kauai. #245 was welcoming. Dan provided explicit instructions as to how to find the complex in the dark. Beautifully furnished in understated Hawaiian style, this corner unit with large deck, is spiffy clean and well equipped. Has the advantage of being very close to the fabulous pool designed for real swimming as well as play. As Molokai has limited dining opportunities, we loved coming home to our own lanai for a light and easy dinner. Find the Kumu farm early in your stay for fresh produce. Although the abandoned resort and golf club next door is a little eerie, there are miles of trails (old golf cart tracks) for walking along the ocean and beaches. A thrill to see the monk seals hauled out and sunning themselves. We would love to return to #245

Wonderful place to stay

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed Molokai, and this was a perfect place to stay. The unit is lovely, and had absolutely everything we needed in a lovely, well cared for complex. We were a 5 minute walk to a fabulous beach for walking and viewing the surfers and the sunsets. The strolls through the deserted golf course provide great bird watching and peaceful seclusion. There are numerous other beaches to walk to and the best swimming beach is only a ten minute drive away. The island seems like what I imagine Maui would have been 75 years ago-so unspoiled! Dan was so helpful providing information and island tips.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME

  • 5 of 5

Well, we just got back from our second trip to Molokai and unit 245. It felt like we were coming home. The condo is so beautifully decorated and very well equipped. Being an end unit you get to enjoy a huge lanai with lounge chairs as well as a table and four chairs for eating outside. We love that the area is quiet and you can walk to several secluded beaches with no one on them or take a short drive to Dixie Maru for great snorkeling. The little store down the road or the grocery store in the nearby town offer enough variety that you don't have to drive too far for groceries unless you want to be out exploring the island. We would deiniftely recommend this property to anyone visiting Molokai.

A perfect vacation!

  • 5 of 5

Molokai is the real Hawaii! The people are friendly, the beaches are beautiful and the pace is slow and relaxing. We enjoyed everything about Molokai and the Dorn's condo is outstanding. It's even more beautiful than the pictures. It is beautifully furnished, well stocked kitchen, immaculately clean and so comfortable. We loved the island motif and warm sunny colors. We enjoyed every meal on the wrap around lanai watching the peacocks, turkeys and swaying palm trees. We enjoyed the lovely pool and hot tub almost every day. Dan and Laura are wonderful hosts making sure everything was perfect for us. We loved the nearby beaches for swimming and snorkeling or just watching the sunset and the surfers. There are many things to do on Molokai if you love the out of doors and adventure. Or you can simply relax and read a book. We did it all and will definitely be back and will only stay at this beautiful condo. Mahalo!
