Wonderful!

  • 5 of 5

Our group of seven couples stayed for the weekend. Everything was just as indicated. The home was beautiful and very clean. It was well stocked from the large kitchen with quality appliances & utensils. Even a griddle! The baths were well stocked with towels etc. The entire front porch/deck had many comfortable chairs to enjoy the beautiful views of the lake and background mountains. We enjoyed the pool table, foosball table, pin ping table, paddle boards and kayaks. And this was during a mild February! As for what we consider the most important things; this home was CLEAN, well kept, well stocked, comfortable mattresses, clean sheets, entertainment, and posted instructions for things. It is not typically easy for seven unrelated couples to all agree, but everyone loved and enjoyed this home as our getaway. Communication with the manager was excellent! We plan to return!

Great Property - Perfect for Families!!!

  • 5 of 5

This was a wonderful property with pretty much everything you could ever need right at the house. We had 5 families with small children at the house for a New Year's get away and it was perfect. Plenty of beds, plenty of space and very very kid friendly!

We plan to rent this property again and would absolutely recommend it to anyone! The one small thing I would recommend is that you bring your own firewood as none was provided at the property to we had to scavenge for wood to make a fire but outside of that small detail it was perfect!

Great family Vacation!

  • 5 of 5

With our growing family of adult children and now grandchildren we are thrilled to discover this house. The beach with its sandy floor and gradual slope was perfect for all--especially the youngest ones among us (17 mo and 2) who loved wading in the water. We also loved having access to the paddle boards and kayaks. (Another perk -- life preservers for about every age). We found the kitchen to be very well stocked. (Who knew a Belgian waffle maker could be such a hit?!) We loved having a large table for those special moments when everyone sits down for a meal together or gathers for some games...but the house is generously spacious enough for people to be able to retreat to their own spaces when they need to get away from things. Ping-pong! Three TV's. Rocking chairs on the porch that swivel! Terri, the manager, was a wonderful person with whom to work---prompt in her responses and helpful in every way. We rented their pontoon boat for several days and found it a wonderful addition to our vacation. Suffice it to say...we'll be back!

Wonderful !!!!!!!

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful place for the family... We had our grown children, Grand Children and now a Great Grand Baby.. There was something for everyone.. We didn't think about the booster seat or kid dishes but they did. We wanted for nothing. The kayaks and standup paddle boards were a great addition... The house is bigger than it looks.. We were never on top of one another instead we had to go looking for people.. The pool table and ping pong table were great for the older kids. The week after we got back our grand daughter asked if we could go back next year !!!!

Fantastic stay

  • 5 of 5

This was our second summer spending time in this home. We bring the kids and grand kids and cannot say enough good things about how well stocked this home is. Step stools and kids dishes is so nice for the kids...and a booster seat too! This year with the kayaks and stand up paddle boards we had even more fun! The most peaceful thing to do is a morning kayak ride around the big island. We also took everyone by kayak, SUP, and a blow up boat of our own to the big island and did an island clean up followed by a swim.

Fantastic! Surpassed expectations!

  • 5 of 5

Our extended family of 3 children, 4 teenagers and 6 adults were wowed with this awesome home! The home itself was stunning, from the large kitchen with everything you could imagine to the large table we enjoyed fabulous meals and the nightly games. All the rooms were decorated beautifully and were very comfortable. Outside was gorgeous from the decks . We were at our private beachrailroad swimming or taking the jet ski from our own covered dock. Every nite at dusk we sitting on the dock relaxing. Lots of fireworks from all around the lake on Fourth of July were great! We all enjoyed the rental pontoon boat we rented. The agent Teri Silver was extremely helpful to us all through the process of booking this property. We took the youngest grandchil to Tweetsie railroad for a great day of Cowboys and rides. Recommend Pepperoni's in Marion for great pizza. Guess you determine that it was a great family trip!
