George the father ( Who was the one that took the pictures) is a constructor/designer and he absolutely fell in love with this house. For the past 5 months he has been working to bring this beautiful house to life again. Margarita the mother is the one that takes care of the linen. All our linen is white and we pay special attention to the cleaning. Pablo the Son is the one in charge of the bookings and checks that everything is perfect before your arrival. Margarita the daughter is the one in charge of the Website and the marketing and Pedro the older son helps us with the internet support. Porota the dog.. Gives unconditional love
Pablo Smith purchased this cabin in 2007
Very nice cabin, loved the quite and the sound of the creek running at the bottom of the hill. It felt good to "come home" after a day out exploring the sights. Would have loved to been there during ski season to see how beautiful it most be covered in snow. Great location with the local ski slope. Well stocked movies and games. For those of you who love country living this place offers so much. Pablo was always there when we had a question. Only drawback was that due to illness (cleaning service) the cabin was not as clean as some we have stayed in. But i am sure that situation is not the norm. Would definitely recommend it to friends and family!!
The property is beautiful. The house is fabulous. Our teenage daughter thought the master jacuzzi tub was "worth the whole vacation". We were there to hike and we had to go some distances (hour to hour and a half) to get to the trails (besides the AT which is at the top of the hill), but the house was a welcome sight when we came back. It has all the amenities that a family needs. One thing that we never did get to work (which was fine by me, not so fine with the sports fanatics) was the TV/DirectTv. We got one TV to work and the others we never did figure out. I would suggest maybe some detailed instructions on what buttons to push be left in the notebook (there were some instructions, but they didn't really help). One other thing - this isn't a complaint, but a way to let you know - there were some very large storms while we were there and the driveway at the bottom suffered severe erosion/washout. You may want to send someone over with a grader to make it so you can get up the hill better. We have an SUV so it wasn't that big an issue, but I'm not sure what it would have done to a car. Thank you for sharing your property with us!
Absolutely an amazing place! Enjoyed this cabin immensely!
Our group had a wonderful (and too short!) stay at this beautiful home. There was plenty of room and the house was very comfortable. The full kitchen was a huge bonus for our large group and saved us from having to eat out every meal. A small issue came up and the owner was very quick to fix the problem. Lots of peace and quiet, beautiful gurgling stream out front, and gorgeous fireplace are just some of the great things about this home. I only wish we had more time to actually ENJOY the place! I highly recommend this beautiful home! Can’t wait to go back!
My friends and I had a great time in this cabin. Beautiful decorations, pool table and all the little details that make it such a fantastic cabin. It fit 10 people who were all very pleased by the whole experience. We hope to come back as soon as possible!
The house is very well decorated and supplied with everything a family may need for a relaxing vacation.
A walking distance to the Apalachian Trails and the the ski resort. In the morning and the evenings there were deer running around. Very peaceful and relaxing environment.
