This fascinating holiday home has a thatched roof and is located in a small village on the peninsula Kegnæs in Southern Jutland.
The holiday home lies on a beautiful enclosed lot overlooking the sea. There is parking space for one car on the lot and for another in the carport on the neighboring property.
The house was built in 1877 and it originally, it was divided into many small rooms. When the current owners took over in 2006, the holiday home was completely renovated and many of the small rooms were combined. Furthermore, an open stairway to the upper floor was installed.
Furniture and building materials of high quality were used when the house was renovated – for example the floors in the living room and the kitchen are made of Canadian birch. The holiday home has now been totally renovated in modern style – it is spacious and insulated for all-year use.
In the house you will find both internet and cable-TV.
The holiday homes´ unique location on a corner lot right by the Baltic Sea means that you always have the soothing sound of the waves from the sea in the back ground, and that you inhale the healthy and salty sea air.
The beautiful landscape invites to a stroll in the country side, and if you choose, you may instead enjoy the great view from the terrace. The beach located nearby has many outstanding fishing spots and there are facilities for cleaning of fish at the house.
