We enjoyed our stay in this unit very much. It was clean with nice carpet & fresh paint. Plenty of room for our family of 7. We were able to settle in right away. Very nice that there were large wide screen televisions. Now a days there's nothing worse than gathering around the old standard televisions to watch a movie together. No HD service though. I felt we paid more than enough to warrant having HD television. Free wireless Internet access was a plus & a must! We were able to ski Snowbird & it was perfectly close. The complex was quiet as well. Kids enjoyed the hottub. Please cut back the tree branches over the deck. Messy droppings & just too low and in the way. One other small thing, we would have preferred to have used the other garage door away from garage entry door. We were nearly parked up against the wall in front of the door. Overall, a great place to stay.
Great location for ski trip! Located right by the entrance to Big Cottonwood Canyon (Solitude & Brighton), and only a couple miles from Little Cottonwood Canyon (Snowbird & Alta). We went with a group of friends, and it was perfect for us! Nice, updated, good sized bathrooms, large dinning table seats eight, beautiful view off the porch in the hot tub. One of our favorite restaurants when we make the trip out here, the Porcupine Pub, is within walking distance. The reservation process, check-in and check-out were all easy and painless.
The only negatives were some of the kitchen drawers and cabinets needed a good cleaning, as well as some of the items in them. Also, none of the bedrooms have overhead lighting, just lamps, so it can be pretty dark in there, especially when the sun goes down. Side note, the gas fireplace is not enclosed/covered, so if you have kids, be aware. We used it every day, and it was great, but it was also a group of adults.
Overall, we loved it!
This was a great place to stay for access to snowbird, Alta, Brighton, and solitude. The condo was nice, clean, comfortable. I really like that basic toiletries and household products were provided. Just a couple of things to comment on, the driveway was too steep to park our rental car in the garage without bottoming out, although SUVs were fine. The gas fireplace had no cover at all and the flame open to the room with furniture and blankets nearby seemed like a possible fire hazard, we were careful to keep everything away from the hearth. Hot tub did not look too clean.
Great location! Beautiful view at night!
We had a great stay! It's a great spot for access to the freeway and perfect for our needs.
We arrived late at night. We took all our suitcases and food in and unpacked everything we needed for a 5 night stay. The next morning at 8am all sorts of noise started. Just outside the window there was major construction happening. Looks like they are adding units to the complex. Sub contractors of all trades were going at it. Shortly thereafter some tree trimmers arrived and began trimming trees with limbs falling right on the balcony where the hot tub sits.
Vacasa was very nice about relocating us to another property but it was a big inconvenience to have to repack and change locations.
This unit should not be rented unless there is a deep discount with the guests being advised in advance that it will not be enjoyable during daytime hours.
