The 4. 5-room apartment is located on the top floor of our chalet. We have this 2013 - 2015 completely renovated according to ecological criteria. The three bedrooms can accommodate up to 6 people: Bedroom South (22 m2) with double bed and single bed for 3 persons, bedroom East (15 m2) with double bed for 2 persons, bedroom West (12 m2) with a single bed. In the living area with open fireplace can be found on two sofas and two armchairs enough space to relax, play chess or Browse our library. The dining table can accommodate six people. The open kitchen to the living and dining area offers plenty of storage space for food. There is plenty of crockery and cutlery for 12 people. It is equipped with fridge, ceramic hob, oven and dishwasher. A Nespresso coffee machine and plenty of capsules are available free of charge. On the large balcony of the apartment you enjoy in summer the cool shadows, for the remainder of the warm sun and throughout the year, the views of the Niesen mountain chain, the Diemtigtal and the village of Diemtigen. On the smaller east-facing balcony with morning sun them stands a table for 4 people.

The spacious bathroom has a sink, toilet, shower and bathtub.

Free Wi-Fi and parking for 1-2 cars. Non smoking.

WOW what views!!

The apartment was exactly as described, although the view from the living room needs to be seen to really appreciate. Marlen was very friendly and helpful as well as providing an unexpected treat upon arrival. We would gladly return, as the time we had was not enough.

Pour des vacances au calme

Appartement très agréable, chaleureux et calme. Les équipements sont parfaits, les rangements nombreux.

La vue, totalement dégagée, est superbe sur la montagne. Nous avons bien apprécié les petits dejeuner sur le balcon avec le soleil levant.

Les propriétaires sont très sympas et de bons conseils pour les visites. Marlen parle très bien le Français.

Les amateurs de VTT pourront profiter des nombreux sentiers dans la montagne ainsi que des pistes de VTT de descente à 5 km (et c’est gratuit !).

N’oubliez pas d’aller piquer une tête dans le lac de Seeberg. L’eau y est un peu fraîche, mais il se situe tout de même à 1830 m.

Nous avons passé d’excellentes vacances très reposantes en famille. A refaire !!!

We have spent 11 wonderful days in Marlen's apartment. It's a beautiful, light-filled and comfortable apartment, located in the lovely Diemtigtal valley. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed, including a fireplace which we enjoyed every evening. There are beautiful mountain views from the windows and the balcony. The region where the house is located is awesome, one can do great hikes around. There is also a train station 20 minutes away and a bus stop near the apartment. In summary, a wonderful stay for us.

Marlene has been very nice and accommodating to us, and we will definitely return.

Wir waren mit 4 Jugendlichen (12-18) hier und es war für alle ein Genuss!

Die Wohnung ist tip-top: alles neu und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, die Betten rückenfreundlich und die Küche optimal ausgestattet.

Unsere Gastgeber haben uns mit vielen Tips versorgt, zu Wanderungen und Veranstaltungen (Käsemachen, Schwingerfest, Bergseeschwimmen). In der Wohnung liegt auch Kartenmaterial bereit.

Wir haben viele traumhafte Wanderungen gemacht, aber das große Gebiet nicht annäherungsweise erfahren, so dass wir auf jeden Fall wiederkommen werden. Für jedes Schwierigkeits- und -Thrill-Bedürfnis lies sich was finden.

Kleine Kulturabstecher nach Thun und vor allem Bern mussten sein.

Und unsere Kinder fanden es toll, derweil in der urgemütlichen Wohnung zu chillen, … bei so vielen gemütlichen Ecken mit Bergblick.

Hier findet man alles, wovon man im Urlaub träumt!!

The village Diemtigen located at the entrance to the natural park "Diemtigtal" in 800 m height. The sunny, calm and generous 4 1/2-room apartment for 2-6 people is located in a newly renovated chalet with wonderful views of the Diemtigtal that Niesen mountain range and the village of Diemtigen. The apartment is also very well served by public transport (bus stop 100m) and serves as a starting point for various activities in the 130 km2 large nature park Diemtigtal throughout the year. The Diemtigtal Nature Park is in the summer for spectacular hiking, mountain biking or paragliding. In addition, located in the Diemtigtal with 107 alpeggi the largest Alpwirtschaftsgebiet Switzerland. Alpine cheese are (usually AOC) produced and other local dairy products in summer to more than 60 mountain pastures. In winter there are two ski areas with families (Wiriehorn and Grimmialp) and various cross-country skiing and snowshoe trails. Very popular the Diemtigtal is also for skiing. very easy to reach by car and public transport are also of Lake Thun and other sights and ski areas in the Bernese Oberland as Interlaken, Adelboden, Lenk and Gstaad. Also worth seeing is the city of Thun with its castle, old town and lake and various nightlife venues and museums. Worth a visit is also the city of Bern (World Heritage).
