Our elegant home is located in West Village and is one of the highest quality Ski In/Out options in Copper. The spacious 4 bedroom, 4 full bathroom townhome is located 100’ from the mountain and nestled in a quiet, low traffic section of Copper. You will enjoy unobstructed views of the pine forest and the 10 Mile Creek from our private hot tub and second floor heated deck, complete with a gas grill. Step out of our private 2 car garage and walk 200’ to the Union Creek high speed quad lift or ski down to Center Village and board the American Flyer or American Eagle (see the map located in our Photo Gallery). The convenient Bridgeway Trail allows you to ski blue or green runs over the bridge to within 100’ of our door. Copper’s Ski School is 200’ away and the kids can walk or ski back to the house without getting lost. We are friends with the best private instructors at Copper and can steer you their way. Dining in Center Village is an easy 5 minute walk down the bike path or you may call a shuttle to pick you up at the door. In the summer, the sound of the 10-Mile Creek running through our backyard defines the word “tranquility” (see You Tube link below under “Amenities”).
Our home has some distinct advantages over comparable properties. Built in 2009, our home is the newest development in Copper. With 2700 s/f of living space, it is 600 s/f larger than the 4 BR units in the Union Creek Townhomes development. The location of our home allows you to walk to Center Village, while the homes in Lewis Ranch and East Village are only accessible by shuttle or car. Our home is a 200’ walk to the amenities of West Village which include Ski School, Equipment Rentals, a Restaurant and Guest Services (which sells lift tickets). We also have information on a gear rental service that will conveniently deliver to the house. We supply all of your Paper Towels, Toilet Paper, Facial Tissue, Dish Soap, Dishwasher Detergent, Laundry Soap, Garbage Bags and all Cleaning Supplies. Our management company is available 24 hours a day and they offer many levels of maid service.
Our home is warm and cozy with high–end finishes and a fully equipped gourmet kitchen. Keeping your gear organized is easy with numbered storage areas and our professional boot/glove dryer (holds 19 pairs). There is a second washer/dryer for your convenience. The kids may keep occupied in the two private play areas, while the adults hang out in the main living area. Enjoy our private hot tub, which faces the mountain and the stars. Each bedroom has a 46” TV with every movie channel, DVR, Xbox One, Xbox 360 or PS3, Blu-ray/CD/DVD and iPod Dock. There are 2 work areas with desks for laptops and free high speed Wi-Fi and cellular reception is excellent. If you’re a smoker or prefer to be outdoors, you’ll appreciate the 50,000 BTU gas umbrella heater positioned over the deck.
Copper enjoys more snow for more months than most other resorts in Colorado. Located conveniently off of I-70, it’s a quick and scenic 90-minute ride from the Denver Airport. In addition to great skiing and boarding, you may enjoy these other activities while in the resort: tubing, cross country ski trails, ice skating, hiking trails, fishing, golf, mini-golf, go-carts, downhill mountain biking, a gym, pool and spa. We can also provide you with information on snowmobiling, ATV rentals, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, rock climbing and many more activities that are all just a short drive away.
There are 3 futon mattresses that may be moved to any room to give your sleeping arrangements flexibility.

My name is Jim Newsome, and my wife Eileen and our 4 sons purchased a home in Copper because we love how the naturally-divided terrain accommodates all skill levels. I am an anal retentive perfectionist that strives to ensure that our home has every possible amenity. Although being a perfectionist isn’t great when it comes to personal relationships, it is a huge asset in business. Guests appreciate my attention to detail, design, organization and cleanliness. I am always available to answer any questions and give guests the info they need to make their trip great. My goal is to make our second home feel like your second home.

Why Owner chose Copper Mountain
Many people say that our home is the nicest unit on the mountain. The unit is equipped with every possible amenity and it’s Ski In/Ski Out location near the ski school is perfect for kids. We are a 200’ walk from the Union Creek high-speed quad chair lift and you can ski on the Bridgeway run to within 100’ of our door. Our home also overlooks the breathtaking 10 Mile Creek. In addition to skiing, Summit County has plenty of activities to enjoy in both winter and summer.
What makes this Townhome unique
Having the Union Creek High Speed Quad Lift 200’ away and being able to ski to within 100’ of our front door is wonderful. In addition, the 10-Mile Creek running through our backyard creates a tranquility that is unmatched by most properties.

You won't find a better stocked, better appointed townhome! Everything you need is provided, such as paper towels, toilet paper, well stocked kitchen, televisions everywhere, sound systems, computers, maps, Carmex, boot dryers, hooks to hang everything to keep it out of your way, location is steps away from the lift and if you have beginners, they can get in and out easily. Everything we needed was there and in impeccable taste! I highly recommend staying here.....it will not dissapoint you!!!
More than we expected!
We had 8 adults and 6 kiddos and there was no feeling of being packed. The kitchen was well appointed with cooking and eating utensils to feed everyone at once. The walk to West Village and Kokomo lift took 3-4 minutes or so with kids with ski boots on. The garage was the best for entering, removing ski clothing and shoes and hanging everything on the appropriate shelf/hooks. Great planning and organization allowed us to just have fun, visit, ski and eat. Then when we wanted, it was only a 6 minute walk to Center Village. Thanks for ordering new snow for us to watch from the balcony.
This house is amazing!
We loved our stay! The location was perfect for our 3 generation family of 11. If you have young children, you will want to stay in the West Villiage or Copper. This home is walking distance to Union Creek lift, Kokomo, and the ski school.
Things we loved about this home:
- Location...the West Villiage is perfect for little ones and advanced skiers. You can hop on Union Creek lift and get just about anywhere on the mountain.
- The owners are very organized.. which we loved! There are hooks and shelves labeled for everyone! The garage is amazing! Check out the video. With a large group this was quite helpful.
- The beds, linens, and pillows were high quality! After a long day of skiing, this was a pleasant surprise.
- Hot tub just for our unit!
- Kleenex and paper towels everywhere. Super convenient.
-TV’s everywhere. We were too tired to watch a lot of tv, but the quality of them are superb.
- Great kitchen and large pantry for preparing meals for a large group.
Overall, amazing stay! These are just a few highlights. We hope to one day enjoy this property again!
Great Experience Can't wait to return
The ski lodge was amazing. The house had everything you could ever want in a lodge and location. Everyone that stayed really enjoyed the amenities. The beds were extremely comfortable (minus the down filled pillows not a fan lol). The layout of the home was extremely accommodating to our large group. The kitchen was excellent with the large island for conversations and food layout. The proximity to the lift was ideal. The Union lift allows skiers of all levels to get on the mountain including the little ones with the ski school being there as well. We would definitely stay here again and hope to again next year! Lastly, I want to highlight the level of customer service and responsiveness. The internet was not working and I went through the protocol to fixing it. It did not work. I texted the owner and within 1 hour I had someone calling me to fix over the phone. The issue was fixed in 10 minutes. It was an awesome level of service that we really appreciated and respected.

Our expectations where exceeded in every way...
I rent a lot of properties in different places, this was special. Everything that you could possibly need is there, and not like in some other properties where knowing that its going to be a rental the owners have just what is needed. In this case you get it all. It was like a fairy was there all the time, If I was outside smoking a cigarette and thought about getting an ashtray, I looked to the right and there it was not one but two small ones and a large one with a box of matches nontheless. If you needed a broom, there it was. A trash can, boom. An outlet to charge your phone, there it is.
There are old fashioned glasses, champagne flutes, a good ice maker, hooks everywhere to hang just about anything, anywhere. The bedding was superb, heated blankets, humidifiers, a beer cooler, flat screen HDTVs everywhere, bathrobes, towels, sound system, xbox, etc, etc.
At first I was a little apprehensive about all the instructions and paperwork I received, I thought maybe this guy is a little, you know.. But no, Its just that there is so much stuff for you to have a great time, that you actually need the instructions.
The location is perfect, you can actually get to the house on skis on the way down. And the lift is just a very short walk away.
For skiers, the attention to detail is on par with everything else, there is everything you need and things you didn´t know you needed, its all there. Hooks, boot warmers, drawers, racks, all organized in a simple manner. The lights are automatic and so is the garage door and the outdoor heater, I really can not overstate the attention to detail Jim has.
We had an accident on the last day where one of our kids slipped and broke the shower curtain with little time to do anything about it. Jim was more than reasonable with the price of the repair.
Everything was so perfect that the only thing I can remember being not perfect is that the Beer cooler is a little loud for my taste. Thats it.
