Castro Valley is probably the best location in the San Francisco Bay Area as far as weather is concerned. It is also one of the most convenient locations for all of your travel plans including easy trips to San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Napa or Sonoma Wine Tours or any number of Theme Parks in the area. Location, location, location. You can walk to the grocery store. we're super close to shopping areas, parks, theme parks, hiking trails, outlet malls, groceries and with easy freeway access you can get anywhere in the Bay Area quickly. Enjoy the fabulous comfort of a luxury home. We really enjoy living in Castro Valley because it offers many advantages over the city of San Francisco. Here's why. San Francisco is often clouded over in a thick fog. Castro Valley enjoys far more clear skies and warm sunshine. Parking is a major problem at most San Francisco properties. It's never a problem at West Coast Villa - and it's FREE! Most guests only spend a couple of days in San Francisco then travel to the surrounding areas for sightseeing. Look at a map and you will find that we are in the center of all of the sightseeing activities and freeway access is much easier from our location than fighting the bridges of San Francisco every day. We are three blocks away from freeway access. Don't misunderstand. You'll still want to go to San Francisco and enjoy the sights and attractions. Average time in San Francisco for our guests over the last six years? 2 days. The rest of the time most of our guests visit places like Napa Valley, Sonoma Valley, Monterey, Carmel, Santa Cruz, San Jose, Livermore, Pleasanton and even Yosemite National Park. And for that West Coast Villas location is absolutely ideal. If your goal is to see the entire San Francisco Bay Area, West Coast Villa is the place to be. Get out of the San Francisco fog and enjoy this gorgeous vacation rental home.
Here are some things you might want to do while vacationing at West Coast Villa in the heart of the San Francisco Bay Area: San Francisco - Visit Alcatraz, Fisherman's Wharf, the Golden Gate Bridge, Lombard Street, ride the cable cars and enjoy a good meal. If you are coming to a convention at the Moscone Center, Cow Palace or elsewhere, stay in the comfort of West Coast Villa. Visit Half Moon Bay, Santa Cruz, Monterey, and Carmel - stroll along white sandy beaches, enjoy clam chowder at the wharf, visit the sea lions or Monterey Bay Aquarium. Take a trip to San Jose famous as the Silicon Valley and see the strange and peculiar Winchester Mystery House. Head over the hills to Pleasanton, Dublin or San Ramon for a shopping spree, take in a movie at the IMAX theatre and a meal at many of the fine restaurants there. Do you want to go on a shopping spree? Visit the brand new Premium Outlet Mall just miles away from West Coast Villa. Visiting college campuses? Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. You made us feel so welcome. We have truly been blessed by all you did for us. Our trip to California was even more special by staying here!
Excellent level of comfort! Very clean, spacious - full sized kitchen was a huge bonus for our travelling needs. Nice outside setting, great view of city. Quiet area, great hot tub! We will be back for sure!
We have had a wonderful time for fellowship with our local leaders and families this week. Thank you so much and God bless! - from the Salvation Army
Great location. Close to shopping, freeway and restaurants. Well decorated with a great kitchen. Very comfortable beds. Super clean.
We needed a quiet home to get recharged after a very stressful couple of years. We found this Villa fit our needs and we had such a refreshing time. When we need to unwind - we'll be back.
I have stayed in various vacation homes but this villa by far was the most incredible home! Very comfortable and beautiful upgraded rooms. Thanks and will recommend to anyone who wants piece and quiet. Thanks
The villa was amazing. Excellent location, quiet neighborhood, and near tourist areas. I would definitely stay here again. It's has a "home away from home" feel.
We're just 2 blocks from 24 / 7 Safeway grocery store; 3 blocks from the I-580 freeway that takes you all over the San Francisco Bay Area. It is a great location for day trips to Napa Valley, Monterey, Carmel, Santa Cruz, Half Moon Bay, Muir Woods, San Francisco, Silicon Valley, San Jose, Livermore Premium Outlet Stores, Wine Tours, and even a trip to Yosemite (a bit long, but some guests venture that far from here).
There are a number of theme parks in the area including Six Flags, Waterworld, Great America, and other day adventures such as the Winchester Mystery House. And of course, most guests want to take in Alcatraz, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Exploratorium, the Academy of Science and Monterey Bay Aquarium.
