Logger’s Run is the premiere location at Snowshoe. There are 5 bed rooms and 3 ½ baths and we can comfortably sleep 12-14. It is located on green friendly Upper Flume. This is a true ski in/ski out, bike in/bike out location. Our home is beautifully appointed with many features.
Some of the features include a gas log stone fireplace, a Jacuzzi on the deck overlooking the Upper Flume ski run, gorgeous views, tile kitchen and baths, DSL high speed internet, washer and dryer, central heat and air conditioning, a garage.
Short walks to the village or Embers the hot spot on the mountain, shuttle pick up right out the front door and much more. This is the premiere and finest location at Snowshoe. Please note that we only rent to a handful of families per season.

Why Ski Bum? Why not a ski bum! I have been on skis since the 60’s. I graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Finance and Economics and did what any respectable college student would do, I got a job… In Aspen…on the mountain. Once I moved on, I think I continually strived to get back to the mountains. I got to ski from time to time but it wasn’t enough! So now I have become what I wanted to become, a Ski Bum! Call me a bum. I’ll take it as a complement!

My wife and I fell in love with Logger’s in its preconstruction phase. We would come up every week to talk to the workers and contractors in the construction phase. I always brought them beer (for the end of their shift). I took care of them so they would take care of me. We had the choice of many of the first 8 and chose this one; number 23, the same day Francie was born! It has all of the key ingredients we wanted. Francie and I enjoy the fact that when you arrive at our home at Logger’s you really don’t need to get back in the car until you are ready to leave. We have spent 5 of the last 6 Christmas here at Logger’s. We have a family tradition of family “get together’s” and this is the most fun place to get together! We hope that you build a tradition of “get togethers” at our home Logger’s Run 23!
What makes your stay here special is that the moment you arrive, you know you will be staying at someone’s home and not just a rental property. The atmosphere is of a log cabin built and decorated with love!
This property is truly amazing. You walk down a flight of stairs and you are at the slopes. We had no problem coming back for lunch quickly, and without lugging all the equipment. We had 14 guests and everyone slept comfortably. There is a large table so we could all eat together too! The hot tub over looks the runs. We could not have asked for better weather, or a better host. The only Downfall was that we somehow misplaced one of our friends keys, and we could not find them on Sunday by check out. Marc ( the owner of the condo) was so helpful and understanding of our situation. Outstanding customer service, and Anazing place.
Folks, this is a wonderful property if you are looking to have a great ski vacation for your family! Marc is the best host you could ask for. He is attentitive to his guest and sincerely cares that your family has a wonderful experience. He was even kind enough to give us his personal cell # even while he was on vacation with his family out West and when we called him, because I left the instruction sheet at home, he was super kind to patiently give me the information over the phone. He did not seem concerned at all that I interrupted his vacation.
The property is perfect for a large family who loves skiing. Direct access to the slopes and very well equipped for cooking family meals and great fellowship. I can tell you the Russo Family will be keeping in contact with Marc in hopes of being regular guest of his at Loggers Run every year for a rest ski vacation. If you take your family to Snowshoe for a ski vacation and don't jump at the chance to rent this property you are making a great mistake. I give it the highest rating one can give a vacation rental property!!!!!!!!
We love booking through VRBO and working with home owners rather than big chain resorts. This was another fantastic example of how the personal touches of the home owner, who know his/her property and area, is such an advantage. Last year when we booked this ski condo he told us about how we could save money by purchasing season passes to Snowshoe at a particular discounted time to purchase. Not only did this save us tremendously during peak season, but it gave us motivation to make several more trips than usual, enjoying more of the ski season and not standing in lift lines! The unit is beautiful, has great use of space and is very well appointed with lots of extras in the kitchen that we did not have to bring with us. An example of good space use is that on the middle floor the bunk beds were doubles instead of singles (which we had in a previous condo in this same complex) this really helped us with sleeping arrangement for the children. In a stay at this same complex earlier but in a different unit, the downstairs room was so cold we were unable to use it. This unit had an extra wall placed, and a separate heater in the same room making it very comfortable. We will definitely book again!
We had such a great time at this town house. Very well located about 100 ft to the slope and then the lift will take you to the entire mountain. VERY, very convenient. House was very well stocked. Cooked 3 awesome dinners and breakfasts at home. Parking very easy. Easy to find. All in all great place.

Great townhouse. Great location. Ski in/ski out. Perfect size for 3 families and 6 kids. Couldn't have been happier with our time there. SkiBum was also very nice and very accommodating.
Great place to stay that has easy access to the slopes. House is set up really well for large families that like to bring there own food and cook for a large group. We will be planning on staying there again next year if the dates work out.
