Our apartments in the idyllic village churches (Ehingen / Donau) are on the edge of the biosphere area Swabian Alb. Whether you hike in your vacation, climbing, caving, canoeing, cycling or mountain biking, fly (kite, paragliding, gliding), swimming, nature and culture, or simply want to unwind, the Swabian Alb will inspire you.
The Upper Mill was built in 1689 and belonged to the monastery Zwiefalten nahegelgenen. Until the Second World War it was used as a corn mill, then as agriculture. The mill wheel was in 20th Century, however, replaced by a turbine, the Muehlbach flows meantime underground through the property.
The entire Ensamble of buildings and barn is a listed building, and the house was completely renovated in the 1990s and 2010s. With its thick walls, the building creates the feel of a country manor.
In the former mill hall a ceiling was added, thus creating two Stochwerken housing. Here are today the apartments. The former millers house is inhabited by ourselves.
The apartment "Miss Smith" has approximately 85 square meters on a large, bright living / dining area with open kitchen, two bedrooms, bathroom and separate toilet and is suitable for four people.
The apartment is located on the first floor and is accessible via the main staircase with an open spiral staircase.
