This is BY FAR the nicest unit at Canyon Racquet Club, and perhaps the nicest ski rental in Cottonwood Heights. We have completely renovated our condo and it is an incredible vacation spot. See our other listings at #142017 and #634551.

We gutted the unit in 2014 and everything is new. Our ski home is HUGE and SPACIOUS, and will make your vacation memorable.

Enjoy a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace; heated boot and glove closet; all new furniture and artwork; completely new kitchen with quartz counter tops, new appliances and new cabinets; new hardwood floors; completely new bathrooms; new carpeting; new paint; and new everything else. We have a custom dining table made from an old solid maple bowling alley lane that will seat 10 comfortably, and another round dining table made from reclaimed barn wood that is over 100 years old.

The new loft bedroom has two queen beds in the main area and two single beds in the loft. The master suite has a king bed, and the queen bedroom has a queen. An overflow bedroom (no window) has a king bed.

This will be the place you return year after year.

Great if anyone in your party wants to go up or down the mountain either early or late.

Complete with high speed Internet, two HD television (55 in. in living room), private washer/dryer, fireplace, BBQ grill, wonderful mountain views, private hot tub, kitchen with all utensils and spices.

I live in Arlington, VA, but plan to retire soon and split my time between Austin, TX and Cottonwood Height, UT. I renovated our condo at Racquet Club for the 2014/15 ski season with comfort and convenience in mind. Utah has the best skiing/snowboarding and is the friendliest state. I chose to buy this property because of it is ideally located for skiing both Big & Little Cottonwood Canyons. It is also high enough on the bench so that the Salt Lake City winter inversions are below us. The condo community is wonderful - clean, tidy, quiet, close to everything, great views - you won't be disappointed!

A perfect family ski house in every way! A repeater next season for sure!

Our family has rented wonderful homes all over the world-THIS is right up there with the best of them. Great location within Racquet Club condos-in the back, well off the road. Mountain views. 4 spacious bedrooms PLUS sleeping loft, with nice linens and good mattresses in all. Comfortable living area with sectional sofa and chairs, enough room for everyone to "chill" after skiing. Hot tub off living area, private.

As the family cook, this kitchen was the best! Wonderfully equipped and great appliances. (I needed/wanted soufflé dishes and the concierge went out and bought them for me - she's very helpful). There were many supplies provided in kitchen and baths that we've not had in other rentals.

House has many levels, which added a sense of privacy for all guests.

The convenience to several ski areas couldn't have been better....20 minutes to world class skiing 🎿�.

The owner has shared some of his own photographs, and those of another professional photographer, all around this lovely space, so there is a treat for the senses at every turn.

There are many choices of rentals in this area, but not many of this high quality. Comfort, taste and excellence abound!

Couldn't have been better!

Everything was great! We appreciate a clean living space, and this condo was impeccable. Everything was in such great shape, we felt like the first to use the condo. Great layout which makes for an exciting home atmosphere. Cool artwork and photography. Super clean hot tub which worked great. Perfect location for the mountains. Loaded with the items you need to make the stay enjoyable. Best part was working with Jim and the property manger. Super easy, super accommodating and made our experience about as good as it could be. Hands down the best home rental we've ever had.

Outstanding, must stay here!!!

This property was everything advertised. Neat, clean and very bright. The property is very functional, and allows for multiple families to have their own private space, while allowing enough room for people to just hang out and relax. The property manager, Stacey, is easily accessible, and is extremely helpful and ready to assist in any way she can. There are a multitude of good quality restaurants near by, and the house is also perfectly set up for cooking or grilling on your own. I would strongly recommend this property, you won't be disappointed.

Wonderful Stay -- Again

Our third time at this wonderful property. Can't ask for a better location or better accommodations. I've been coming to Utah for over 25 years (first in the winter but now in the summer also) and this place is absolutely the best. Stacey (the property manager) lives right next door and we were delighted to have her over for dinner. Unit is completely renovated and immaculately maintained. Great base for exploring both Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons. Was up in Wyoming before our stay to enjoy the eclipse and then finished our Utah vacation here. Looking forward to coming back to ski Alta, Snowbird and Solitude. A new restaurant within walking distance is almost complete and we can't wait to go there. Love the Porcupine Grill and the Hog Wallow.

Spacious and modern with great location

The location is close to the freeway, a Smith's, and other stores, quite convenient. The kitchen is fully stocked with equipment and really nice to work in (though drawer labels would be helpful.) Lots of seating and super nice modern appliances- the dishwasher is so quiet we couldn't usually tell it was running! Plenty of towels and supplies. Garage easily fits 2 vehicles.

The main drawback was that the top floor was HOT. Our kids were quite uncomfortable in the top room, as the a/c never seemed to cool it even after we opened the windows at night to let hot air out. There's a stand fan up there but it didn't help circulate air much.

Also, we had a few issues with cleanliness- we found cobwebs on the light fixture in the table area downstairs, there was a sticky layer on the kitchen table we had to clean off, a few small areas of dirt in the bathrooms, and a wet comforter from another unit was left in the washing machine which we luckily found the night we arrived so it didn't mildew or anything. We found the suggestion to tip the housekeeper posted on the fridge unique and bizarre.

We also never did receive check in instructions and had to call and wait to receive the entry code on arrival.

But other than that it's quite a nice place! We'd consider staying again, just maybe not during August if we planned to use the upstairs bedroom and loft!

Regarding the issues you mentioned, during your stay it was particularly hot, especially during the evening, so the top AC struggles to cool the top bedroom and loft. We are looking to install a supplemental system next season. We did send detailed entry instructions and local information before your arrival. I always send this to the renters personal email address so they can share it easily with others in their party, and perhaps you didn't notice it. My property manager lives in the adjoining unit and I am glad that she was there to let you in without delay. Regarding cleaning, this is an area we pride ourselves on. My property manager personally helped our wonderful cleaning woman with the turnover from the previous renter. If you would have brought any issue to our attention, Stacey (who is literally right next door) would have come over immediately to remedy the situation. Regarding the suggestion we have posted on tipping, we pay our wonderful housekeeper top dollar but think she deserves consideration for a gratuity. It is not mandatory. We have reviewed the note, and we don’t find it “bizarre.” Cleaning is hard work, and those who do it deserve appreciation. We were gracious not to charge you extra cleaning for the crayons marks your children made on the walls and table, which our housekeeper cheerfully cleaned without gratuity. Thanks again for your stay."
