Mountain and Surroundings: Ski and boarding trails from beginner to expert, along with two terrain parks and the largest gladed trail in the northeast make Saddleback the next up and coming mountain. Nordic Center has over 50 miles of trails for cross-country and snowshoeing. Spring, summer, and fall use allow for hiking, boating, fishing, golfing, mountain bicycling, swimming, and lake sports in the area. Five minute walk to the full service Saddleback Lodge for two restaurants, a bar, guide services, ski school, ski rentals, boat rentals, reception services, free wireless DSL, and special events year round, especially on holidays. A picturesque location for a simple get-away, weddings, family retreats, or conferences.
Equipment: Equipment for areas activities are not provided with condo, however, are available for rent in the region (boats, skis, ski tickets, golf clubs, etc).
Summer Spring Fall Delight: Peaceful Summers have tons of activities in the area. Hike to the top of Saddleback for some of the best above tree line landscape of the Appalachian trail with 360 views. Simple walks to Rock Pond or Saddleback lake afford great fishing opportunities. Dirt trails near the lake and on the mountain are a mountain bicycler's dream. As part of the association, you can check out canoes or kayaks from the main lodge for a minimal fee. Or just sit back on the deck and watch the sunset drop while moose occasionally saunter by. In fall, the collage of colors heighten the senses even more. Based on the weekend, the lodge cafe is open for lunch and on occasion there are festivals or bands playing out front.

My family and I love skiing, hiking, and kayaking, hence we bought this condo for our use. We don't use half as much as we wish, so we decided to share available dates with others. We have had over 90 successful happy renters in the last three years.

I think this condo has some of the best views on the mountain. It is also well positioned on the mountain for ski-in/ski-out and has a modern interior that is in newer shape compared to others. We desinged the interior ourselves to match traveler's needs and desires.

We had such an amazing time!! We were blown away with the condo and especially the veiw we were so glad we decided to stay at your condo we saw 4 moose while we were there which was awesome and went fishing where the canoes were! Such amazing veiws the place was perfect! Thanks for all your help and we will definitely come back again in the future.
We were repeat guests, and we enjoyed our stays on both visits. The owner provides guests with great information on recommendations for dining and activities. That is a real help for first time visitors. The condo is spacious, clean, will have everything you need, and offers spectacular sunset views off the back patio. The condo offers ski in/out access and is very well maintained. The new addition of the mud room in the front added a nice touch for your ski gear. 5 stars!
Our family, including our three children and spouses, and grandbaby stayed for a three day weekend. Spacious, clean and well equipped condo. Wonderful unobstructed views, easy access to trails and quiet! Owner provided great service and info regarding the condo, which was helpful. Looking forward to doing this again!
We once again enjoyed our stay at Saddleback in this wonderful condo. It is so clean and comfortable. Our family is able to enjoy the ski in and out ease. We love that we can come back to the condo at lunch time for a quick and easy meal and be back out on the slopes again in no time. The kitchen is wonderful and we are able to make dinner every night. There is plenty of room for everyone to spread out so that the kids can do homework or find quiet space to read or we can all gather in front of the fireplace and play games. We are happy that we can feel comfortable enough with the small size of the mountain to let our kids and their friends ski on their own, yet the trails are challenging enough that everyone can ski/snowboard at their own level. Our children also enjoy sledding at night and we have snowshoed/hiked on the trails when we don't feel like skiing. There is certainly plenty to do. We always come back from the weekend feeling renewed and refreshed. We look forward to going again.
We had a great time with our teenage kids. They could ski out the door and return home on their own as well. They were outside having fun all day. We mostly ate at the condo (great dining room table for all to sit at) but occasionally had snacks and hot chocolate at the lodge. One night the kids ate while we relaxed at the fire in the lodge. Beds at the condo were comfortable and large (king and bunk beds) while the floor plan made for privacy when needed and common spaces for connections. overall a great time made easy.
We really enjoyed our stay at your Saddleback condominium! The property was in excellent condition and was not lacking in any way. Two levels gave us all plenty of privacy when we wanted it. The beds were very comfortable. The well outfitted kitchen made cooking in easy. We saved money by not feeling like we needed to eat out. The location was superb. The view was gorgeous and skiing was awesome! We loved that you could ski right out from the condo when we were ready to hit the slopes. It was a great place to have a family vacation and create wonderful memories with our kids! We'll be back!
This condo is fantastic. There is plenty of room and privacy and everything was very modern. The view, the ski-in/ski-out, and amenities were all perfect. I think Saddleback is the best ski mountain in Maine right now and I look forward to going back and renting this condo again.

Many lakes for fishing, boating, swimming are in region. Golfing is available in the area. The town of Rangeley is 7 miles from the mountain.
