In the southwest you can see the Kaiserstuhl (with beautiful wine-growing villages and wine terraces). In the west, you look across the Rhine plain to near Alsace to the Vosges (France). In the north, directly behind the house, there is a vineyard. Within 5 minutes on foot you can reach a good shopping market (with bakery and butcher), a heated terrace swimming pool and tennis courts, as well as in the nearby beautiful lakes, biking and hiking trails.
